Richmond police logged 11 stolen vehicles last week, a sharp drop from the 27 reported the previous week, as vehicle thefts and burglaries remained among the most common calls for service. Officers also investigated an armed robbery, a carjacking, a firearms case and several domestic violence incidents between August 3 and 9.

Domestic battery: 2800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. Police arrested a suspect for domestic battery at 1:19 a.m.
5th Street snatch: 500 block of 5th Street. A vehicle was reported stolen at 6:46 a.m.
Auto burglary: 4900 block of Macdonald Avenue. A vehicle break-in was reported at 6:56 a.m.
Trespassing: 2600 block of Lancaster Drive. Police arrested a suspect for trespassing at 9:35 a.m.
Aggravated battery: 100 block of West Macdonald Avenue. An assault causing serious bodily injury was reported at 12:16 p.m.
Identity fraud: 1300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A resident reported someone had fraudulently used their identity at 3:34 p.m.
Battery: 15500 block of San Pablo Avenue. A battery was reported at 9 p.m.
Suspended-license arrest: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Police arrested a driver for operating a vehicle on a DUI-suspended license just before midnight.
Tuesday, August 4
Parts theft: 200 block of South 23rd Street. Vehicle parts were reported stolen just before 1 a.m.
Officer battery arrest: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Police arrested a suspect for battery on a peace officer at 1:19 a.m.
Hit-and-run: 400 block of Barrett Avenue. A driver fled after causing property damage at 1:47 a.m.
Car theft: 2nd Street. A vehicle was unlawfully acquired at 5 a.m.
Auto burglary: 6000 block of Sacramento Avenue. A vehicle break-in was reported at 5:33 a.m.
Battery arrest: 4600 block of Potrero Avenue. Police arrested a suspect on charges of battery and criminal threats at 7:07 a.m.
Boosted on Bissell: 1600 block of Bissell Avenue. A vehicle was reported stolen at 7:35 a.m.
Lost and found: 400 block of 38th Street. A vehicle reported stolen was recovered shortly after at 8:29 a.m.
Car theft: 1100 block of Chanslor Avenue. Someone’s car was snatched under cover of darkness and reported missing at 8:53 a.m.
Vehicle recovered: 700 block of 19th Street. A previously stolen car was located at 9:30 a.m.
Petty theft: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A theft was reported at 9:45 a.m.
Identity fraud: 1700 block of Gaynor Avenue. A resident reported fraudulent use of their identity around 10 a.m.
Vehicle recovered: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Another stolen car turned up at 11:27 a.m.
Domestic violence: 3100 block of Southampton Court. A corporal-injury domestic violence case was reported at 12:20 p.m.
Stalking: 1800 block of Chanslor Avenue. A stalking complaint involving a prior offense was reported at 12:41 p.m.
Petty theft: 300 block of 1st Street. A theft was reported at 1:11 p.m.
Car theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A car was pinched on the Parkway at 1:23 p.m.
Armed robbery: 500 block of South 20th Street. A robbery involving a dangerous weapon was reported at 2:35 p.m.
Access card fraud: 2500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A theft involving unauthorized use of access card information was reported at 3:25 p.m.
False pretenses: Near Crystal Cove Court. A victim reported losing more than $400 through false pretenses at 3:26 p.m.
Petty theft: 12200 block of San Pablo Avenue. A theft was reported at 4:51 p.m.
Vehicle recovered: 500 block of 4th Street. A stolen car was located at 5:49 p.m.
Parts theft: Schooner Court. Vehicle parts were reported stolen at 5:55 p.m.
Auto burglary and forgery: 500 block of 27th Street. A vehicle burglary was reported alongside a forgery involving false checks at 6 p.m.
Stalking arrest: 1800 block of Chanslor Avenue. Police arrested a suspect for stalking at 6:51 p.m.
Obstruction arrest: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Police arrested a suspect for obstructing an officer at 7:02 p.m.
Trespassing: 1000 block of Cutting Boulevard. Police arrested a suspect for refusing to leave a property at 9:11 p.m.

Carjacking, DUI and burglary arrest: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Police arrested a suspect in a case that combined a strong-arm carjacking, a DUI charge and a hit-and-run property damage allegation just after midnight; the same report number was tied to a forced-entry residential burglary in the 5000 block of Hartnett Avenue reported at 3:21 p.m.
4th Street recovery: 600 block of 4th Street. A recovered stolen vehicle was linked to a hit-and-run complaint just after midnight.
Hit-and-run: 600 block of 32nd Street. Officers reported both an obstruction charge and a hit-and-run shortly after midnight.
Auto burglary: 300 block of Marina Way South. Police arrested three suspects on charges of auto burglary, obstructing officers and criminal conspiracy at 2:59 a.m.
Domestic violence: 100 block of South 11th Street. Police arrested a suspect for corporal-injury domestic violence at 3:44 a.m.
Car theft: 1600 block of Monterey Street. A vehicle was reported stolen at 6:33 a.m.
Car theft: 2600 block of Hinkley Avenue. Another one at 8:20 a.m.
Car theft: 5300 block of Bayview Avenue. Yet another one at 9:07 a.m.
False ID arrest: In the 94801. Police arrested a suspect for giving a false identification to a peace officer at 11:27 a.m.
Protective order violation: 5300 block of Birdie Court. A contempt-of-court complaint for violating a protective order was reported at 11:58 a.m.

Grand theft: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. A theft was reported just before 7 a.m.
Trespassing arrests: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Police arrested seven suspected trespassers at 8:53 a.m.
Civic Center theft: 400 block of Civic Center Plaza. A grand theft was reported at 9:11 a.m.
Theft from vehicle: 5800 block of Jefferson Avenue. Items were taken from a car at 11:07 a.m.
Petty theft: 2800 block of Sheldon Drive. A theft was reported at 6 p.m.
Drugs and officer battery: 300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A report combined possession of a controlled substance and marijuana for sale with a felony battery charge against a police officer at 6:01 p.m.
Friday, August 7
Assault with force: 700 block of 24th Street. An assault with force causing possible great bodily injury was reported at 7:15 a.m., along with a charge of unlawful sexual intercourse with a minor filed under the same report number.
DUI arrest: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Police arrested a driver on a DUI charge tied to a stop at 3:30 p.m.
Parts theft: 2900 block of Garvin Avenue. Vehicle parts were reported stolen at 4 p.m.
Custody dispute: 15500 block of San Pablo Avenue. A report of depriving another party of custody or visitation rights was filed at 6:12 p.m.
Vehicle recovered: 2600 block of Wilart Drive. A previously stolen car was located at 7:13 p.m.
Domestic violence: 600 block of 20th Street. A domestic violence case was reported at 8:23 p.m.
