Richmond police recorded vehicle thefts, multiple burglaries, assaults and a string of DUI arrests, according to department records. Car thefts were reported across neighborhoods from the Iron Triangle to North and East Richmond, while officers also responded to domestic violence calls, commercial break-ins and weapons-related offenses throughout the week.

Car theft: 400 block of S. 23rd Street. Someone drove a car into the dark at 5:15 a.m. and didn't look back.
Battery: 1200 block of 23rd Street. A physical altercation was reported at 8:15 a.m.
Drug paraphernalia & possession: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested someone on drug charges at 8:45 a.m.
Criminal threats: 500 block of 16th Street. A person was reported for making criminal threats at 9 a.m.
Residential burglary: 900 block of Amador Street. Burglars forced their way into a residence at 10 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 600 block of Sonoma Street. A vehicle was broken into and property was taken at 3:58 p.m.
Vehicle recovery: 600 block of 27th Street. Someone's stolen vehicle resurfaced at 5:52 p.m.
Car theft: Undisclosed location in 94804. A thief made a decision and acted on it at 7 p.m.
Theft of vehicle parts: 1400 block of Harbour Way South. Someone helped themselves to parts off a parked car at 7 p.m.
DUI: Undisclosed location in 94806. A driver was arrested on a DUI charge at 8:48 p.m.
Residential burglary: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A home was burglarized at 10:58 p.m.

Domestic battery: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. An arrest followed a domestic dispute that turned physical at 4:14 a.m.
Vehicle recovery: 200 block of S. 39th Street. A car reported missing turned up at 9:27 a.m.
Grand theft: 1400 block of Harbour Way South. A grand theft was reported at 9:59 a.m.
Petty theft: Undisclosed location in 94801. A theft was reported at 10:01 a.m.

Car theft: 2700 block of Virginia Avenue. A thief found it unattended and left with it at 10:46 a.m.
