According to incident data released by the Richmond Police Department, a person was killed on Potrero Avenue on Tuesday evening as Richmond police logged a murder, three robberies, and 13 vehicle thefts between June 15 and June 21.

Monday, June 15

Grand theft: 3100 block of Southampton Court. Something of value was taken in the early hours of the morning at 12:30 a.m.

Car theft: 3100 block of Pullman Avenue. A thief came for it before sunrise at 3:50 a.m. and left with a car that wasn't theirs.

Battery: 800 block of 6th Street. A person was attacked at 3:52 a.m.

Disorderly conduct: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Police arrested a suspect found publicly intoxicated at 4:20 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 1000 block of Factory Street. A business was found broken into at 8 a.m.,

Car theft: 300 block of South 6th Street. A car owner learned someone had driven away with their car at 8:10 a.m. 

Vehicle recovery: 5300 block of Bayview Avenue. A stolen car turned up at 8:52 a.m. 

Domestic battery: Undisclosed location in 94804. A domestic dispute turned physical at 1:25 p.m.

Public intoxication: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect at 1:32 p.m.

Petty theft, drug possession: 1000 block of Market Avenue. Police arrested a suspect found stealing and in possession of a controlled substance at 2:32 p.m.

Court order violation: 2900 block of McKenzie Drive. Police arrested a suspect for violating a court order at 3:26 p.m.  

Mail theft: 500 block of Key Boulevard. Mail was reportedly stolen at 3:37 p.m.

Drug possession, trespassing: 2500 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Police arrested a suspect found on property they had no right to be on, carrying drugs, at 4:51 p.m.

Car theft: Undisclosed location in 94804. A car was taken at 5 p.m.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94804. Police arrested a driver at 5:45 p.m. in no condition to be behind the wheel.

Robbery: 4800 block of Central Avenue. A person was robbed at 6:20 p.m.  

Identity fraud: 2300 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Someone was using another person's identity at 7:03 p.m.

Grand theft: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. A significant theft was reported at 9 p.m.

False imprisonment, exhibiting a deadly weapon, criminal threats: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A person was reportedly held against their will, threatened, and a weapon was brandished at 11:23 p.m.  

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94801. A driver was stopped at 11:23 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia: 3400 block of Macdonald Avenue. Drug paraphernalia was found just before midnight at 11:59 p.m.

Tuesday, June 16

Residential burglary: 2100 block of Nevin Avenue. A home was found to have been broken into at 2 a.m.   

Domestic battery, child abuse: 600 block of 3rd Street. Police arrested a suspect after a domestic dispute turned violent, and a child was harmed at 3:49 a.m.

Car theft: 700 block of Bradford Drive. A thief took it at 3:54 a.m. 

Vandalism: 5400 block of Solano Avenue. Property was damaged at 5:30 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 300 block of South 38th Street. A stolen car was found at 8:46 a.m.

Drug paraphernalia: Undisclosed location in 94805. Police arrested a suspect with drug paraphernalia at 8:50 a.m.

Drug possession: 12800 block of San Pablo Avenue. Police arrested a suspect found with a controlled substance at 11:08 a.m.

Drug possession for sale, contraband in jail, drug possession, drug paraphernalia: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. A person was found with drugs for sale, paraphernalia, and contraband at 12:03 p.m.  

Vehicle embezzlement: 2900 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A vehicle was not returned at 12:41 p.m.

Car theft: 700 block of 15th Street. A car was taken at 3 p.m.  

Forgery: 5000 block of Nevin Avenue. A forged check was passed at 3:59 p.m.

Criminal threats, trespassing, drug paraphernalia, drug possession: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Police arrested a suspect found on property they shouldn't have been on, making criminal threats, and carrying drugs and paraphernalia at 4:18 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia, drug possession: 3600 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police arrested a suspect found with drugs and paraphernalia at 4:21 p.m.

Possession of a stolen vehicle: Undisclosed location in 94806. Police arrested a suspect found in a stolen car at 7:48 p.m.

Armed robbery: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect after a person was robbed at gunpoint at 8:03 p.m.

Vehicle burglary: 3000 block of Belfast Way. Police arrested a suspect after a vehicle was broken into at 8:11 p.m.

Murder: 4500 block of Potrero Avenue. A person was killed at 8:25 p.m., and a suspect was arrested.

Richmond police arrested a 61-year-old man Tuesday night on suspicion of murdering his older brother following a fight at a Potrero Avenue residence, authorities said. Jerome Timmons, 68, of Richmond, was found unresponsive at a home in the 4500 block of Potrero Avenue at approximately 9:09 p.

Shoplifting: 15500 block of San Pablo Avenue. A shoplifter was caught and arrested at 9:20 p.m.

Criminal threats: Undisclosed location in 94801. Threats serious enough to constitute a crime were reported at 10:03 p.m.

Disorderly conduct: 3700 block of Ohio Avenue. Police arrested a suspect at 10:45 p.m.

Vandalism: 200 block of 4th Street. Property was damaged at 11:35 p.m.

Wednesday, June 17

Commercial burglary, shoplifting, trespassing: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Police arrested a suspect after Meeker Avenue's most-burglarized block was hit again at midnight.

Theft of vehicle parts: 1000 block of Florida Avenue. Parts were stripped from a vehicle at midnight.

Noise disturbance: 400 block of 18th Street. A noise complaint rose to the level of a formal report at 2:47 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 3000 block of Cutting Boulevard. A business was broken into at 3:49 a.m.

Domestic battery: 200 block of South 47th Street. Police arrested a suspect after a domestic dispute turned violent at 5:53 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 2000 block of Macdonald Avenue. A parked car was broken into at 8:28 a.m.

Vandalism: 600 block of 18th Street. Property was damaged at 8:40 a.m.

Robbery: Undisclosed location in 94801. A person was robbed at 9:56 a.m.

Identity fraud: 600 block of Rock Rose Way. Someone was using another person's identity at 12:07 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 300 block of Carlson Boulevard. A business was broken into at 12:32 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 800 block of 6th Street. A stolen car was recovered at 2:26 p.m.

Criminal threats: 2400 block of Lancaster Drive. Threats were made at 3:22 p.m., serious enough to bring a police report.

Petty theft, possession of stolen property, drug possession: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Police arrested a suspect at 3:27 p.m. found stealing, carrying stolen property, and in possession of drugs.

Grand theft: 2500 block of Ohio Avenue. A significant theft was reported at 3:51 p.m.

Court order violation: 300 block of Summit Place. A court order was violated at 4 p.m.

Court order violation: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Another court order was violated at 4 p.m.  

Criminal threats: 600 block of 18th Street. Police arrested a suspect for making criminal threats at 5:12 p.m.

Warrant arrest: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect on an outstanding warrant at 6 p.m.

Vehicle burglary: 1900 block of Coalinga Avenue. A parked car was broken into at 11:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 18

Petty theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A theft was reported just after midnight.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a driver stopped at 12:37 a.m. with too much in them to be driving.

Car theft: 600 block of South 37th Street. A thief took it at 3:30 a.m. while the block was asleep.

Vandalism: 3700 block of Wall Avenue. Property was damaged at 5:25 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 1900 block of Coalinga Avenue. The same block as Wednesday night's burglary was hit again at 6 a.m.

Battery: Undisclosed location in 94801. A person was physically attacked at 8:06 a.m.

Vandalism: 1500 block of Chanslor Avenue. Police arrested a suspect after property was damaged at 8:37 a.m.

Vandalism: Undisclosed location in 94806. Property was damaged at 9:15 a.m.

Car theft: 1800 block of Gaynor Avenue. A thief took it at 10 a.m. while the morning went on.

Car theft: 1900 block of Esmond Avenue. Another car was taken ten minutes later on the next block at 10:10 a.m. 

Court order violation: 100 block of 16th Street. A court order was violated at 11:01 a.m.

Drug possession for sale, marijuana possession for sale: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect found with drugs for sale at 2:58 p.m.

Battery: 1900 block of Stenmark Drive. A person was attacked at 3:49 p.m.

Vehicle burglary: 200 block of South 16th Street. A parked car was broken into at 4:30 p.m.

Car theft: 200 block of Marina Way South. A thief took a car at 7 p.m. as the evening came on.

Drug possession: Undisclosed location in 94804. A drug-related incident was reported at 9:45 p.m.

Aggravated battery: 500 block of 8th Street. A person was seriously beaten at 10:46 p.m.

Criminal threats: 3700 block of Florida Avenue. Threats were made at 11:19 p.m.

Friday, June 19

Car theft: 600 block of 19th Street. A thief took it before sunrise at 2:30 a.m.

DUI (under 21): Undisclosed location in 94805. Police arrested a driver under 21 stopped at 2:50 a.m.

Car theft: 1700 block of Rheem Avenue. Another car gone at 6:30 a.m.

Car theft: 600 block of S. 22nd Street. A third car was taken before 8 a.m.  

Court order violation: 100 block of Commodore Drive. A court order was violated at 9:17 a.m.

Trespassing: 300 block of 28th Street. A person was found somewhere they had no right to be at 9:30 a.m.

Battery, court order violation: 1000 block of Lassen Street. A person was attacked, and a court order was found to have been violated in the same incident at 2:16 p.m.

Felon in possession of a firearm, illegal firearm possession, child abuse: Undisclosed location in 94805. Police arrested a convicted felon found at 2:43 p.m. carrying multiple concealed firearms, a loaded handgun, and prohibited ammunition, while a child was present.  

Child abuse: 3200 block of Moran Avenue. Police arrested a suspect after a child was harmed at 11:29 p.m.

Saturday, June 20

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a driver just after 1:37 a.m.  

Sex crime, sexual battery: 200 block of 18th Street. A sexual assault involving multiple charges was reported at 3:21 a.m.  

Petty theft: 3400 block of Barrett Avenue. Something small was taken at 3:26 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 4500 block of Utah Drive. A parked car was broken into at 4:13 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 3200 block of Jacuzzi Street. A business was broken into at 1:55 p.m.

Hit-and-run, evading police, reckless driving, drug possession, drug paraphernalia: 12200 block of San Pablo Avenue. A driver seemingly hit a vehicle at 3:58 p.m., fled, drove recklessly, tried to outrun officers, and was found with drugs and paraphernalia.

Battery: 1000 block of Market Avenue. A person was attacked at 5:04 p.m.

Domestic battery: 2800 block of Lincoln Avenue. A domestic dispute turned physical at 5:17 p.m.

Exhibiting a deadly weapon: 300 block of South 36th Street. Police arrested a suspect reported for brandishing a weapon at 6:33 p.m.

Car theft: 2400 block of Esmond Avenue. A thief took a car at 7 p.m. while Saturday evening settled in.

Aggravated battery: 500 block of S. 26th Street. A person was seriously injured in an assault at 8:42 p.m.

Sunday, June 21

Vehicle recovery: 1800 block of Alice Street. A stolen car was found at 11:36 a.m., returned to the world, if not the owner's driveway just yet.

Arson: 1700 block of Dunn Avenue. A fire was deliberately set at 12:31 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon.

Vandalism: Undisclosed location in 94801. Property was damaged at 12:56 p.m.

Petty theft: 900 block of Triangle Court. Something was taken at 2:44 p.m. by someone who felt entitled to it.

Petty theft: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A theft was reported at 7:19 p.m.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94804. A driver was cited at 9:31 p.m. for operating under the influence to close out the week.
