Richmond police logged 14 stolen vehicles last week, up from 11 the previous week, as vehicle theft and burglary remained among the most common calls for service. Officers also investigated a fatal stabbing on Wood Place that led to a murder charge, made a multi-charge firearms and narcotics arrest on the 600 block of 2nd Street, and responded to an early-Sunday armed robbery on Esmond Avenue that combined burglary, domestic violence, criminal threats and assault-with-a-deadly-weapon charges.
