What happened in Richmond: 22 vehicles stolen and seven robberies reported across the city

Twenty-two vehicles were stolen and seven robberies reported in Richmond between April 27 and May 3, with three of the holdups involving a firearm or weapon.

Monday, April 27

Hit-and-run: Undisclosed location in 94804. Someone clipped a car and kept moving at 12:40 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 300 block of South 39th Street. Two vehicles were broken into at 2:05 a.m.

Vandalism: 300 block of Tewksbury Avenue. A vandal did their work and left at 2:21 a.m.

Vandalism: 12400 block of San Pablo Avenue. Property was damaged at 4:30 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 1300 block of Canal Boulevard. Someone was found tampering with a parked vehicle at 7:45 a.m.

Petty theft: Undisclosed location in 94804. Someone made off with property that wasn't theirs at 9 a.m.

Theft of vehicle parts: 900 block of Marina Way South. Vehicle parts were taken at 9 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 500 block of South 17th Street. A parked car was broken into at 9:42 a.m.

Identity fraud: 1000 block of View Drive. A identity fraud was reported at 2:48 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1500 block of Costa Avenue. A missing car was found at 2:59 p.m.

Domestic battery: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A domestic battery was reported at 3:43 p.m.

Domestic battery, false imprisonment: 4300 block of Center Avenue. A person was attacked and prevented from leaving at 5:51 p.m.

Vandalism: Undisclosed location in 94801. Property was damaged at 8 p.m.

Car theft: 1700 block of Roosevelt Avenue. A thief found an opportunity at 8 p.m.

Domestic battery: 4100 block of Mcglothen Way. A dispute at home turned physical at 8:51 p.m.

Tuesday, April 28

Car theft: 700 block of S. 40th Street. The owner came back to an empty space at midnight.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94801. An officer pulled over a driver and made a DUI arrest at 12:08 a.m.

Court order violation: 3600 block of Waller Avenue. Police arrested someone for violation of a court order at 12:23 a.m.

Exhibiting a firearm: 3500 block of Bissell Avenue. A person was reported for brandishing a weapon at 1:52 a.m.

Court order violation: 900 block of Triangle Court. An arrest was made for violation of a court order at 3:40 a.m.

Vehicle recovery, car theft: 400 block of Carlston Street. A missing car was found at 4:45 a.m.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94804. An officer pulled over a driver and made a DUI arrest at 5:22 a.m.

Car theft: 5500 block of Van Fleet Avenue. A thief made a quick decision and acted on it at 7:03 a.m.

Car theft: 2900 block of Pullman Avenue. The car changed hands without the owner's consent at 7:21 a.m.

Car theft: 500 block of 3rd Street. A thief walked up and took a car in plain sight at 8 a.m.

Obstruction: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. An officer was obstructed at 8:11 a.m.

Car theft: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A car thief was at work at 8:25 a.m.

Car theft: 400 block of W. Richmond Avenue. Another thief made off with a car at 9 a.m.

Car theft: 2400 block of Hinkley Avenue. It was gone from the curb at 9:55 a.m.

Identity fraud: 3100 block of Hilltop Mall Road. An identity fraud was reported at 10:19 a.m.

Criminal threats, car theft: 100 block of W. Chanslor Avenue. Criminal threats were reported at 11:34 a.m.

Car theft: 4700 block of Hartnett Avenue. Someone drove off with a car that wasn't theirs at 7 p.m.

Sex crime: 3800 block of Wall Avenue. A sex crime was reported at 7:11 p.m.

Shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Someone left a store without paying at 7:12 p.m.

Vandalism: 800 block of Meadow West Court. Property was damaged at 7:35 p.m.

Car theft: 500 block of 6th Street. It disappeared at 8 p.m.

Illegal firearm possession, possession of stolen property: Undisclosed location in 94801. A person was found carrying a firearm illegally at 8:46 p.m.

Car theft: 500 block of 3rd Street. A thief helped themselves to it  at 10:10 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia, drug possession: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested someone on a drug charge at 11:15 p.m.

Wednesday, April 29

Car theft: 400 block of S. 27th Street. Someone helped themselves to it at midnight.

Vandalism: 2300 block of Brooks Avenue. Someone damaged property at 4:04 a.m.

Grand theft: 2500 block of Spinnaker Way. A grand theft was reported at 4:20 a.m.

Hit-and-run: 3100 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A driver hit another vehicle and fled at 9 a.m.

Trespassing: 2500 block of Baywood Way. Someone turned up somewhere they had no right to be at 10 a.m.

Armed robbery: 3000 block of Pullman Avenue. A person was held up at gunpoint at 10:07 a.m.

Trespassing: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Someone turned up somewhere they shouldn’t be at 10:09 a.m.

Vandalism: 4700 block of Hartnett Avenue. Property was damaged at 11:08 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 4800 block of Central Avenue. Someone was found tampering with a parked vehicle at 1:38 p.m.

Theft from building: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Property was stolen from inside a building at 3 p.m.

Residential burglary: 3100 block of Southampton Court. A residence was burglarized at 5:07 p.m.

Drug possession: 3100 block of Southampton Court. A drug-related incident was reported at 5:30 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 4900 block of Cypress Avenue. A stolen car turned up at 6:06 p.m.

Petty theft: Undisclosed location in 94803. Someone made off with property that wasn't theirs at 6:11 p.m.

Marijuana possession for sale: 2300 block of Aberdeen Way. A drug-related incident was reported at 7:17 p.m.

Grand theft: 1100 block of Cutting Boulevard. A grand theft was reported at 7:02 a.m.

Robbery: Undisclosed location in 94804. A robbery was reported at 7:30 a.m.

Domestic battery: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. A domestic battery was reported at 8:30 a.m.

Vandalism: 300 block of S. 29th Street. A vandal did their work and left at 9:18 a.m.

Mail theft: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. Someone intercepted mail that wasn't addressed to them at 1:06 p.m.
