Suspect eludes police in Wildcat Canyon chase
After an altercation, attempted arrest, and a taser deployment, a man fled from Contra Costa County sheriff officers who were conducting a search near the Staging Area of Wildcat Canyon Park Friday afternoon.
With police on the ground and a helicopter providing an areal view, the suspect disappeared into the revenue area of Wildcat Canyon, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s with visible tattoos, wearing a hooded sweatshirt and beanie cap.
