Saturday, January 14

Elder abuse: 100 block of South 42nd Street. A caller told police he had been beaten up and needed an ambulance at 7:58 p.m.

Burglary: 500 block of 23rd Street. Police received reports of a commercial burglary at 4 p.m.

Chemically inconvenienced: 1500 block of Roosevelt  Avenue. Someone was arrested for public intoxication at 1:52 a.m.

Disturbance: 1300 block of Monterey Street. A man reported a woman from a nearby homeless encampment broke into his mom’s car at 2:40 p.m.

Home invasion: 2400 block of Branchwood Court. A caller reported five men in sweatsuits rushed into his home after one of them hit him after he opened his door near midnight.

Friday, January 13

Robbery: 12000 block of San Pablo Avenue. Two women reportedly robbed the GO of beauty products and a bottle of tequila. The duo reportedly assaulted staff and fled in a Toyota at 3:39 p.m. Police quickly found the two on Campbell Street.

Brandishing: 400 block of Barret Avenue A man told police his brother had a knife and was acting crazy at 1:20 p.m.

Carjacking: 600 block of Harbour Way. A man wearing only his skivvies reportedly pulled a man from a car at a gas station and assaulted him at 4:42 a.m.

Thursday, January 12

Domestic violence: 2nd Street. Someone’s mom asked the police to check on her daughter, who had a fight with her boyfriend and was not answering her phone at 9:14 a.m. Later, the boyfriend’s mom reported her son had been attacked by his girlfriend at 10:45 a.m.

Road rage: 3400 Richmond Parkway. A man reportedly pulled a gun on a woman after she honked at him at 9:10 a.m.

Woman with a knife: 3000 block of Pullman Avenue. A caller told police his girlfriend had a knife and wanted to fight at 3 p.m.

Assault with a deadly weapon: 4000 block of Taft Avenue. Police received reports that a woman struck a pedestrian with her car at 4:25 p.m. The officer learned the woman purposely drove her vehicle at the victim, striking her and causing a leg injury. Police booked the driver into jail.

Wednesday, January 11

Arson: 5400 block of Solano Avenue. A hooded man on a bike reportedly set fire to a 2021 silver Lexus at 6:55 p.m.

Police chase: Bissell Avenue. Police responding to a  music complaint located a car involved in an armed robbery in Pinole at 1:18 p.m. The driver fled, leading officers on a small chase ending in the 300 block of South 36th Street. Police looked for a handgun he may have tossed while fleeing and racked up the charges, including driving while under the influence, driving while license suspended for DUI, evasion, and driving in the opposite direction of traffic.

Car theft: 100 block of Maine Avenue. Thieves reportedly took a vehicle without the owner's consent around 4 a.m.

Tuesday, January 10

Man with a gun: 900 block of 23rd Street. A caller told police he spotted a man near Andy’s Donuts with an extended gun magazine sticking out of his jacket at 6:58 p.m. Officers could not locate the man.

Robbery: 800 block of 23rd Street. A group of dudes used a gun to rob a gas station customer of his phone and wallet at 5:33 p.m. The trio fled on Gaynor Avenue in a white Honda SUV without plates. Offices located the SUV near 7th Street and Market Avenue and took an adult and three youngsters into custody.

Missing teen: 34th Street. A youngster reportedly didn’t show up for school and was reported missing at 6:15 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 4300 block of Potrero Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a burglary at 11:41 p.m.

Mental health challenges: Carlos Avenue. A caller told police his wife expressed interest in dying by suicide. Dispatch contacted the county’s mobile crisis team but they didn’t have anyone available to respond.

Kidnapping: 3200 block of Pierce Street. A caller told police a man forced a woman into a silver car at the Pacific East Mall at 7:24 a.m. Responding officers stopped the car and learned the driver had a restraining order preventing contact with the woman. The man was booked into jail, and DSVU detectives took over the investigation.

Monday, January 9

Vehicle theft: Cars were reportedly taken without their owner’s consent from Castlewood Drive, the 600 block of South 29th Street, the 500 block of Florida Avenue, the 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road, the 1200 block of Hall Avenue, the 3400  block of  Tulare Avenue, the 5100 block of McBryde Avenue., the 2800  block of San Luis Street, the 1400  block of Carlson Boulevard, the 2800 block of Wendell Avenue, the 5200 block of Fleming Avenue, 32nd Street, the 400 block of Harbour Way South and the 600 block of 20th Street.

Stolen vehicle recovery: Previously stolen cars were found in the 600 block of 12th Street, the 2800 block of San Luis Street, the 600 block of South 19th Street, 300 block of South 5th Street.

Amorous congress: 400 block of  East Richmond Avenue. A man and woman got to know each other in the driver seat of a pickup truck at 5:02 p.m.

Battery: 1000 block of 23rd Street. One man was booked into jail after a caller summoned police to the area with reports of a fight. The man, reportedly armed with a knife, briefly struggled with officers before being taken into custody at 7:30 p.m.

Sunday, January 8

Vehicle theft: Cars were reportedly taken without the owner’s consent on the 600 block of Harbor Way, 600 block of 20th Street, the 400 block of Harbour Way South, the 600 block of 32nd Street, the 2800 block of Wendel Avenue, the 5200 block of Fleming Avenue and the 1400 block of Carlson Boulevard. Police recovered a stolen vehicle on the 2800 block of Wendell Avenue.

Possess unlawful paraphernalia: 500 block of 7th Street. A maintenance supervisor told police a man with a knife talked to himself while on a tenant’s porch at 11 a.m.

Auto burglary: 800 block of Brookside Drive. A caller reported a man on drugs broke into a car and was sitting inside at 11:16 a.m.
