According to incident data released by the Richmond Police Department, a felon was arrested on West Macdonald Avenue Monday afternoon carrying multiple firearms, including two loaded, stolen guns and a large-capacity magazine, as Richmond police logged a robbery, 11 vehicle thefts, and a violent week that included an attempted murder reported on Via Verdi between June 22 and June 28.

Monday, June 22

Criminal threats: 900 block of Marina Way South. A person reported receiving threats serious enough to constitute a crime at 2:10 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 1900 block of Meeker Avenue. A business was found broken into at 6:18 a.m. 

Fraud: 12800 block of San Pablo Avenue. Someone obtained money under false pretenses, reported at 10 a.m.

Five-finger discount: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. A shoplifter was reported at 10:40 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 500 block of Roosevelt Avenue. A parked car was found broken into at 10:45 a.m.

Suspended license: Undisclosed location in 94804. A driver was stopped at 11:10 a.m. with a license suspended for a prior DUI.

Felon in possession of multiple firearms: 100 block of West Macdonald Avenue. Police arrested a suspect found carrying two stolen and loaded firearms, a concealed weapon, and prohibited large-capacity magazines, while on probation at 12:28 p.m. 

Car theft, vandalism: 700 block of 26th Street. A car was reported stolen and property was damaged in the same incident at 12:50 p.m.

Shoplifting, drug possession: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Police arrested a suspect at 1:50 p.m. caught shoplifting and found with drugs and paraphernalia.

Vandalism, court order violation: 2300 block of Clinton Avenue. Property was damaged, and a court order reportedly violated at 1:52 p.m.

Sex crime, kidnapping: 200 block of Marina Way. A sexual assault was reported at 4:41 p.m.  

Misuse of 911: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A caller made harassing calls to 911 at 5 p.m.

Vehicle burglary: 3300 block of Parkgate Court. A parked car was found broken into at 7:45 p.m.

Vandalism: 200 block of 15th Street. Property was damaged at 8:21 p.m.

Drug possession: 5000 block of Hartnett Avenue. Police arrested a suspect found with drugs and paraphernalia at 8:45 p.m.

Commercial burglary, vandalism: 700 block of 23rd Street. Burglars hit a business and damaged property at 9:28 p.m.

Tuesday, June 23

Petty theft: 3400 block of Jetty Drive. Something small was taken, reported at 12:17 a.m.

Trespassing: 100 block of 22nd Street. Police arrested a suspect found on property they had no right to be on at 1:18 a.m.

Contraband in jail, warrant arrest, trespassing, drug paraphernalia: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Police arrested a suspect found trespassing and carrying drugs and paraphernalia and discovered an outstanding warrant in the process at 1:31 a.m.

Mail theft: 2300 block of Carlson Boulevard. Mail was reported stolen at 5:15 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 4200 block of Berk Avenue. A stolen car was found at 5:26 a.m.

Reckless driving: Undisclosed location in 94801. A driver was reported driving recklessly at 6:23 a.m.

Criminal threats: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect for making criminal threats at 10:40 a.m.

Sex crime: 5700 block of Clinton Avenue. A sexual crime was reported at 11:47 a.m.  

Suspended license: Undisclosed location in 94804. A driver was stopped at 12:28 p.m. with a license suspended for a prior DUI.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a driver impaired by drugs at 4:36 p.m.

Wednesday, June 24

Drug possession for sale, resisting arrest: Undisclosed location in 94804. Police arrested a suspect at 12:51 a.m., found with drugs for sale and narcotics, with prior convictions, who was said to have refused to cooperate with officers.

Utility theft, drug possession, fire alarm tampering: Undisclosed location in 94806. Police arrested a suspect who had been stealing utility services, tampering with a fire alarm, and was found with a controlled substance at 1:45 a.m.

Warrant arrest: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect at 1:49 a.m. on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant.

Hit-and-run: Undisclosed location in 94805. A driver struck property and left the scene at 1:50 a.m.

Grand theft, vandalism: 1000 block of Factory Street. A significant theft and property damage were reported at 3:10 a.m.

Trespassing: 1000 block of Canyon Oaks Drive. A person was found on property they had no right to be on at 7:02 a.m.

Sex crime: 500 block of Tewksbury Avenue. A sex crime was reported at 7:03 a.m.  

Kidnapping, domestic violence, false imprisonment: 500 block of 33rd Street. Police arrested a suspect at 8:52 a.m. after a person was reportedly held against their will, physically harmed, and subjected to domestic violence.

Rape: 1700 block of Nevin Avenue. A sexual assault was reported at 10:18 a.m.  

DUI: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. An over-the-legal-limit driver was stopped at 10:23 a.m. 

Petty theft: 12000 block of San Pablo Avenue. Something was taken at 11:42 a.m.

DUI, suspended license: 1000 block of Cutting Boulevard. A driver was stopped at 12:10 p.m. with alcohol in their system and a license already suspended for a DUI.

Criminal threats, exhibiting a deadly weapon: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect at 1:44 p.m. who made criminal threats and brandished a weapon.

Attempted murder, rape, domestic violence: 3800 block of Via Verdi. Police arrested a suspect at 2 p.m. on multiple charges after a violent domestic incident.

Vandalism: 2000 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police arrested a suspect after property was damaged at 2:22 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 500 block of 33rd Street. A stolen car was found at 3:25 a.m.

Car theft: 200 block of Willard Avenue. A car was reported stolen at 4 a.m.

Vandalism, throwing object at vehicle: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested a suspect at 6:38 a.m. who had damaged property and hurled an object at a vehicle with intent to cause serious injury.

Car theft: 400 block of 2nd Street. Another car was reported stolen at 1:08 a.m.

Aggravated assault with a deadly weapon: 800 block of Brookside Drive. Police arrested a suspect at 3:02 a.m. after a person was attacked with a deadly weapon.

Vandalism: 900 block of Triangle Court. Property was damaged at 6:08 a.m.

Car theft: 4300 block of Jenkins Way. Police arrested a suspect after a car was reported stolen at 7:37 a.m.

Kidnapping, domestic battery: 600 block of 34th Street. Police arrested a suspect at 9:18 a.m. after a person was abducted and physically harmed in a domestic incident.

Vehicle parts theft: 4100 block of Wall Avenue. Parts were stripped from a vehicle, reported at 8:03 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A stolen car was found at 8:50 a.m.

Car theft: 1800 block of Santa Clara Street. A car was reported stolen at 9:04 a.m.

Resisting arrest, false identification: Undisclosed location in 94801. A suspect gave false identification to officers and resisted arrest at 10:02 a.m.

Possession of a stolen vehicle, car theft, false identification: 1300 block of Burbeck Avenue. Police arrested a suspect at 2:44 p.m. who was found in a stolen car and gave officers a false name.

Sunday, June 28

Domestic battery: Bayside Court. A domestic dispute turned physical at midnight.

Vandalism: Undisclosed location in 94801. Property was damaged at 1 a.m.

DUI: Undisclosed location in 94806. A driver was stopped at 1:46 a.m. over the legal limit.

Court order violation: 700 block of 33rd Street. A court order was found to have been violated at 5:56 a.m.

Petty theft: 500 block of Harbour Way. Something was taken, reported at 6:44 a.m.

Car theft: 2800 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue. A car was reported stolen at 6:59 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 7th Street. A vehicle was found tampered with at 7:56 a.m.

Indecent exposure, battery on a peace officer, resisting arrest: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A suspect was reported for indecent exposure at 8:59 a.m. and physically attacked an officer during the encounter.

Car theft: 200 block of South 45th Street. A car was reported stolen at 1:01 p.m.

Domestic battery, court order violation: 2300 block of Lancaster Drive. A domestic dispute turned physical, and a court order was found to have been violated at 7:32 p.m.
