Richmond Promise will team up with East Brother Beer Company to take part in the Richmond-based brewery’s Pride + Purpose Day series celebrating the Richmond community. The taproom will be open from 3 to 9 p.m., and RP staff will be on hand from 5 to 7 p.m. to share information about the work the organization is doing on behalf of Richmond Promise Scholars. Also, that day, East Brother will showcase Richmond Promise-related content on its digital channels as another way to highlight the work RP is doing. Started by East Brother as a way to celebrate the Richmond community, Pride + Purpose Day is described by the brewery as a “special event dedicated to supporting local causes that make a significant impact in our community.” Richmond Promise hosted its “Cheers to the Promise” event at East Brother in 2023 and is excited to partner with the brewery once again.
