From firearms violations and domestic violence to vehicle thefts and DUIs, Richmond police logged numerous arrests and investigations between October 20 and 26, 2025.

Monday, October 20

Weapon Law Violations: 2900 block of San Joaquin Street. Officers made an arrest after responding to the willful discharge of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner at 1:10 a.m.  Police also discovered a concealed weapon in a vehicle and a loaded handgun that belonged to someone else.

Assault: 900 block of McLaughlin Street. Officers made an arrest after responding to reports of an assault at 1:46 a.m.

Car tampering: Unspecified location in the 94804 zip code. A vehicle was tampered with at 5:54 a.m.

Assault: 200 block of Bissell Avenue. Officers arrested someone on sexual assault charges at 7:20 a.m..

Over exposure: 900 block of Dornan Drive. It was said that someone was exposing themselves at 9:10 a.m.

Battery: 4700 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was assaulted at 9:29 a.m.

Gone in 60 seconds: 1600 block of Coalinga Avenue. An automobile was taken without consent at 9:35 a.m.

Grand theft: 1500 block of Marina Way South. A theft was reported at 10:35 a.m.

Multiple drug charges and warrant arrest: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Officers discovered unlawful paraphernalia and controlled substances, and arrested someone on an outstanding misdemeanor warrant at 11:07 a.m.

Hot wheels: 2700 block of Lowell Avenue. Another car was taken without consent at 1 p.m.

Auto burglary: Somewhere in the 9480. A vehicle was broken into at 3:59 p.m.

Domestic violence: 100 block of Chariot Court. Someone reportedly inflicted corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 6:10 p.m.

Residential burglary: 100 block of Chanslor Avenue. A home was entered without force at 6:21 p.m.

Tuesday, October 21

Aggravated assault: In the 94801 zip code. Officers took a person into custody following their response to an incident involving domestic violence with priors, assault with a deadly weapon, and hit-and-run resulting in injury at 1:09 a.m.

Vandalism: 100 block of 16th Street. Property damage over $400 was reported at 2:26 a.m.

Firearm discharge: 100 block of S 47th Street. A firearm was willfully discharged in a grossly negligent manner at 2:36 a.m.

Warrant arrest: 400 block of 20th Street. Officers nabbed someone on probation violation, disorderly conduct due to alcohol, prohibited person possessing ammunition, and an outstanding felony warrant at 3 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 400 block of 6th Street. An automobile was taken on an unauthorized test ride at 4:56 a.m.

Contempt of court: 3700 block of Klose Way. Someone was said to have defied a court order at 11:20 a.m.

Battery: W Richmond Avenue. Police responded to a report of a physical altercation and arrested an assault suspect at 12:14 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery and drug charges: 700 block of Burbeck. A robbery without weapons transpired, and officers also discovered controlled substances and unlawful paraphernalia at 12:37 p.m.

Domestic violence: 800 block of 20th Street. Officers responded to reports of domestic violence at 2:09 p.m.

Vandalism: 1000 block of 23rd Street. Property damage over $400 was reported at 2:19 p.m.

Battery: 700 block of Carlson Boulevard. A person was arrested after seemingly attacking someone at 2:31 p.m.

Deadly weapon: 4500 block of Meadowbrook Drive. A person was arrested after reportedly wielding a deadly weapon with malicious intent at 3:36 p.m.

Battery: 1700 block of Nevin Avenue. A person was assaulted at 5:29 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 4100 block of Klose Way. A business was broken into with force at 6:45 p.m.

Criminal threats and a deadly weapon: 12200 block of San Pablo Avenue. A person threatened to commit a crime with the intent to terrorize and exhibited a deadly weapon before getting arrested at 6:53 p.m.

Petty theft: 2500 block of Lancaster Drive. Theft was reported at 9 p.m.

Multiple firearm charges: In the 94804 zip code. Officers arrested someone after discovering a concealed weapon in a vehicle, which was loaded and registered to someone else, at 10:17 p.m. 

Domestic violence: 4500 block of Florida Avenue. Police received reports of domestic violence at 11:05 p.m.

Tuesday, October 22

Hot wheels: 500 block of 17th Street. An automobile changed hands in a manner not blessed by law at 12:27 a.m.

Domestic violence: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Someone was arrested after reportedly inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 1:33 a.m.

Multiple charges: 200 block of W Macdonald Avenue. Officers made an arrest after they responded to an incident involving criminal threats, vandalism, and battery at 7:42 a.m.

Smash and grab: 300 block of Seaview Drive. A vehicle was broken into at 9:51 a.m.

Vandalism: 200 block of S 8th Street. Property damage under $400 was reported at 9:52 a.m.

Fraud: 100 block of Lakeshore Court. Someone obtained money by false pretenses at 10:58 a.m.

Battery: 2200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Officers arrested someone on assault charges at 11:52 a.m.

License violation: In the 94806 zip code. A driver operated a vehicle while their license was suspended at 1:58 p.m.

Petty theft: 4800 block of Central Avenue. Theft was reported at 2:27 p.m.

Embezzlement: 3200 block of Auto Plaza. A leased or rented vehicle was reportedly embezzled at 3:04 p.m.

Petty theft: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Motor vehicle parts or accessories were stolen at 4:24 p.m.

Vandalism: 3500 block of Solano Avenue. Police made an arrest for property damage under $400 at 5:02 p.m.

Assault: 200 block of S 47th Street. Police responded to an assault with a deadly weapon situation at 9:14 p.m.

Warrant arrest and contempt of court: Circle Court. A person with an outstanding felony warrant was apprehended and charged with contempt of court at 11:39 p.m.

Thursday, October 23

Commercial burglary: Washington Avenue, Point Richmond. A business was broken into with force at 2:57 a.m.

Aggravated assault: 3500 block of Wall Avenue. Police responded to a battery with serious bodily injury, arresting someone in the process at 3 a.m.

Commercial burglaries: 100 block of Park Place. Two more businesses were broken into with force at 3 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 2500 block of Moyers Road. An automobile was taken without consent at 7:01 a.m.

Battery: Nevin Avenue. A person was assaulted at 8:05 a.m.

Vandalism: 4900 block of Bayview Avenue. Property damage over $400 was reported at 9:11 a.m.

Gone in 60 seconds: 2300 block of Aberdeen Way. Another car was taken for an unauthorized test drive at 10:50 a.m.

Sexual assault: Undisclosed location. Police investigated lewd or lascivious acts at noon.

Battery: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was attacked at 12:15 p.m.

Battery: 5100 block of Fleming Avenue. A person was assaulted at 12:16 p.m.

Disappearing cars: 3100 block of Erla Way. Another vehicle disappeared into the criminal underworld at 12:56 p.m.

Petty theft: 4100 block of Klose Way. Theft was reported at 1 p.m.

Grand theft: 1000 block of Cutting Boulevard. A theft was reported at 3:16 p.m.

Trespassing: 800 block of Sonoma Street. A person refused to leave a property and was arrested at 4:54 p.m.

False identification: In the 94804 zip code. Someone provided false identification to a peace officer and ended up in cuffs at 5:52 p.m.

Residential burglary: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. A home was entered without force at 7:16 p.m.

Drug charges: In the 94801 zip code. Someone was arrested after police discovered marijuana for sale at 9:02 p.m.

DUI: Location unspecified in the 94804 zip code. A driver was busted on driving under the influence of alcohol charges at 10:48 p.m.

DUI and license violation: In the 94804 zip code. A driver was arrested after reportedly driving while under the influence of alcohol and drugs, while their license was suspended for DUI at 10:59 p.m.

Court or violation: 2100 block of Dunn Avenue. A court order to prevent domestic violence was said to have been violated at 11:39 p.m.

Friday, October 24

Firearm discharge: 200 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. A firearm was willfully discharged in a grossly negligent manner at 2:18 a.m.

Auto burglary: 3100 block of Pierce Street. A vehicle was broken into at 7:09 a.m.

Aggravated assault: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police responded to an assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury at 8:57 a.m.

Disorderly conduct: In the 94801 zip code. Someone was arrested for soliciting a lewd act at 9:04 a.m.

Multiple warrant arrests: In the 94804 zip code. A person with outstanding misdemeanor warrants was apprehended at 12:15 p.m.

Vandalism: 2800 block of Loyola Drive. Property damage over $400 was reported at 1 p.m.

Simple assault: 4000 block of Mozart Drive. Someone was arrested on assault charges at 1 p.m.

Battery: South 45th Street. A person was attacked at 1:51 p.m.

Criminal threats: 2700 block of Maricopa Avenue. Police responded to reports of criminal threats, battery on a spouse, willful cruelty to a child, and exhibition of a deadly weapon, arresting someone at 2:43 p.m.

Alcohol violation: 300 block of Harbour Way South. An alcohol-related quality of life issue was reported at 3:25 p.m.

Battery: First Street. A person was assaulted at, and another was arrested for said assault at 3:54 p.m.

Willful cruelty: 700 block of 8th Street. Officers responded to reports of willful cruelty to a child at 5:37 p.m.

Assault: 4600 block of Potrero Avenue. Police responded to an incident involving assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury at 7 p.m.

Deadly weapon: Florida Avenue. A person exhibited a firearm and was arrested at 9 p.m.

Battery: 16th Street. A person was attacked at 10:21 p.m.

Saturday, October 25

Trespassing: 4400 block of Ohio Avenue. A person refused to leave a location at midnight.

DUI: 200 block of Bissell Avenue. A driver operated under the influence of alcohol and was taken to the Gray Bar Hotel at 1:17 a.m.

Noise violation: 900 block of 9th Street. A community noise complaint was reported at 2:20 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 5000 block of Mozart Drive. A car was taken without consent at 2:40 a.m.

Criminal threats and vandalism: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A person reportedly threatened to commit a crime with the intent to terrorize, and caused property damage before getting arrested at 6:40 a.m.

Car theft: 200 block of Ripley Avenue. A spontaneous change in car ownership led to an arrest at 6:45 a.m.

Residential burglary: 3100 block of Garrity Way. A home was broken into with force at 11 a.m.

Petty theft from vehicle: 2900 block of Mullens Drive. A car was pilfered at 2:41 p.m.

Guns and DUIs: In the 94804 zip code. A driver without a license was busted for driving under the influence and having a gun despite a prohibition against it at 8:21 p.m.

Reckless driving: In the 94804 zip code. A driver operated recklessly on a highway at 9:26 p.m.

Domestic battery: 5000 block of Hartnett Avenue. Police responded to reports of battery on a spouse at 10:02 p.m.

Sunday, October 26

Disorderly conduct: In the 94801 zip code. Officers responded to reports of a person under the influence in public and made an arrest on drug charges at 12:02 a.m.

Auto burglary: 300 block of Sixth Street.  A vehicle break-in was reported at 2:15 a.m.

Firearm discharge: 2000 block of Chanslor Avenue. Police responded to reports of a firearm being discharged in a grossly negligent manner at 2:28 a.m.

Firearm discharge: 200 block of Ripley Avenue. Officers investigated another report of a gun being fired negligently at 2:45 a.m.

Drug possession: In the 94801. Police encountered a person in possession of controlled substances, synthetic cannabinoids, and unlawful drug paraphernalia at 4:41 a.m.

Violation of court order: 200 block of West Chanslor Avenue. A person was reported to have violated a domestic violence restraining order at 8 a.m.

Vandalism, weapons violation, and criminal threats: 1900 block of Pennsylvania Avenue. Officers responded to reports of property damage, threats of violence, and a person brandishing a weapon at 9:09 a.m.

Vandalism and resisting an officer: 1200 block of Harbour Way South. Someone reportedly tampered with a vehicle and obstructed a peace officer at 9:12 a.m.

Petty theft: 2200 block of Giant Road. Officers took a report of stolen vehicle parts and accessories at 10:13 a.m.

Domestic violence: 400 block of Carlston Street. Police responded to a report of corporal injury on a cohabitant at 12:14 p.m.

Battery: 2200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Officers responded to a report of a physical altercation at 2:14 p.m.

Vandalism: 0 block of West Richmond Avenue. Police investigated reports of property damage at 4:21 p.m.

False identification: In the 94801 zip code. Officers contacted a person who provided false identification to peace officers at 8 p.m.

Violation of court order: 500 block of Hayes Street. Police responded to reports of a person disobeying a court order with prior convictions at 9:33 p.m.

Domestic violence: 600 block of South 20th Street. Officers responded to a domestic disturbance at 10:14 p.m.
