Car-napping season arrived in force across Richmond, where police recorded dozens of vehicle thefts, break-ins, and recoveries from November 10 to 16, alongside a steady mix of burglaries, assaults, and domestic violence calls.

Monday, November 10
Commercial burglary: 11900 block of San Pablo Avenue. A commercial property was entered without force at 2:03 a.m.
Threatening phone call: 3500 block of El Portal Drive, El Sobrante. An obscene or threatening telephone call was reported at 4:00 a.m.
Auto burglary: 100 block of S 11th Street. Officers arrested a suspect on destruction of property charges after a vehicle was broken into at 5:51 a.m.
Hot wheels and recovery: 1000 block of Carlson Boulevard. A vehicle was taken without the owner’s consent and recovered at 6:08 a.m.
Domestic violence and assault: A person reportedly inflicted bodily injury on a spouse, cohabitant, or dating partner and is alleged to have used force that could cause serious injury at 7 a.m.
Gone in 60 seconds: 2700 block of East Court. A vehicle was stolen at 7:36 a.m.
Elder theft: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. A caretaker reportedly stole from an elder or dependent adult at 9:39 a.m.
Vandalism: 400 block of 18th Street. Property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 9:50 a.m.
Child abuse: 1200 block of Virginia Avenue. Officers made arrests for aggravated assault after someone allegedly inflicted injury upon a child at 2:49 p.m.
Grand theft: In the 94804 zip code. A theft was reported at 3:19 p.m.
Auto burglary: 100 block of S 11th Street. A vehicle was broken into at 6:04 p.m.
Revenge porn: 5200 block of Burlingame Avenue. Officers arrested a suspected peeping tom after intimate images were distributed at 6:26 p.m.
Kidnapping: In the 94804 zip code. A kidnapping was reported at 7 p.m.
Petty theft: 400 block of S 23rd Street. A theft was reported at 7 p.m.
False identification: In the 94801 zip code. Officers arrested someone for impersonation after false identification was given to a peace officer at 7:59 p.m.
Robbery: In the 94804 zip code. A strong-arm robbery occurred at 8:30 p.m.
Driving without license: In the 94804 zip code. Someone drove without a license at 11:10 p.m.
Tuesday, November 11
Vandalism and residential burglary: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Property was damaged, and a home was forcibly entered at 9:30 a.m.
Grand theft: 900 block of Humboldt Street. A theft was reported at 10 a.m.
Vandalism: In the 94805 zip code. Property damage valued at $400 or more occurred at 10 a.m.
Fraud: 3000 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Someone reportedly obtained in excess of $400 by false pretenses at 11:02 a.m.
Assault: 2300 block of Humphrey Avenue. Officers arrested a suspect after an assault with a deadly weapon was reported at 12:44 p.m.
Embezzlement: 1300 block of Macdonald Avenue. Embezzlement of $950 or more was reported at 1 p.m.
Domestic violence and drug possession: 800 block of Griffin Drive. Officers arrested a person who reportedly inflicted bodily injury on a spouse, cohabitant, or dating partner and was found in possession of controlled substances at 1:29 p.m.
Assault: 4800 block of Central Avenue. It was reported, an assault with a deadly weapon occurred at 2:47 p.m.
Auto theft: 5200 block of Creely Avenue. A vehicle was taken without consent at 5 p.m.
Vandalism: 800 block of Carlson Boulevard. Property was defaced at 5:30 p.m.
Domestic battery: 200 block of South 23rd Street. Officers arrested an individual on simple assault charges after responding to a battery involving a spouse, ex-spouse, or dating partner at 6:01 p.m.
Drug possession for sale: In the 94801 zip code. Officers picked up someone on drug violations after reportedly discovering controlled substances for sale at 6:11 p.m.
Purse snatching: 3300 block of Waller Avenue. A purse was snatched in a grand theft at 6:47 p.m.
False emergency report: 1000 block of Lassen Street. Officers arrested someone for allegedly filing a false report of an emergency at 6:54 p.m.
Auto theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A vehicle was stolen at 7 p.m.
Robbery: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A strong-arm robbery occurred at 8 p.m.
Petty theft: 3100 block of Clinton Avenue. A theft was reported at 8:39 p.m.
Sexual assault: 2800 block of Rheem Avenue. Police reported a person who was unable to give consent was sexually assaulted at 10 p.m.
Domestic violence: 200 block of 15th Street. Someone was arrested on aggravated assault charges after allegedly inflicting corporal injury on a spouse, cohabitant, or dating partner at 11:21 p.m.
Wednesday, November 12
Commercial burglary: 12800 block of San Pablo Avenue. A commercial property was entered without force at 3:03 a.m.
Auto theft: 200 block of Freethy Boulevard. A vehicle was taken without the owner’s consent at 6:15 a.m.
Resisting arrest: 300 block of Summit Place. Someone obstructed or resisted a public officer at 7:09 a.m.

Nuisance 911 calls: 100 block of 16th Street. Annoying calls to 911 led to an arrest at 5:49 a.m.
Vandalism, auto burglary, and drug paraphernalia: 100 block of S 11th Street. Officers made arrests for destruction of property after a vehicle was broken into, property damage valued at $400 or more occurred, and unlawful paraphernalia was discovered at the police station at 5:51 a.m.
Commercial burglary: 3400 block of Macdonald Avenue. A commercial property was forcibly entered at 7:01 a.m.
Deadly weapon display and threats: 100 block of South 3rd Street. Someone exhibited a deadly weapon and threatened to commit a crime with the intent to terrorize at 7:19 a.m.
Vehicle embezzlement: 3000 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A leased or rented vehicle was embezzled at 8:36 a.m.
DUI: In the 94805 zip code. A driver was arrested for being under the influence at 9:13 a.m.

Arson: 1300 block of Garvin Avenue. More property was set on fire at 5:59 a.m.
Criminal threats: 3600 block of Waller Avenue. Someone threatened a crime with the intent to terrorize at 1 p.m.
Grand theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A theft was reported at 1:05 p.m.
