Monday, May 5

Battery & Criminal Threats: 300 block of 6th Street. It was reported that someone attacked another person and threatened to commit a crime at 3:10 a.m.
Criminal Threats: 1400 block of Gaynor Avenue. Another threat to commit a serious crime at 4:00 a.m.
Kidnapping, Robbery & Drugs: 3100 Southampton Court. Officers made an arrest on robbery, kidnapping, and possession of controlled substances charges at 8:15 a.m.
Battery: 1400 block of Marina Way S. Someone physically attacked another person at 4:24 p.m.
Vehicle Theft, Evasion & Stolen Vehicle: Location not specified. A driver took a vehicle without the owner's consent, tried to get away from a police officer, and was in possession of a vehicle that had been reported stolen at 6:01 p.m.
DUI: 2800 block of Humphrey Avenue. A driver earned a trip to the Graybar Hotel for reportedly driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:25 p.m.
Battery: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. Someone physically attacked another person, causing serious bodily injury at 7:00 p.m.
DUI: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Another driver was under the influence of alcohol at 10:51 p.m.
Felony Arrest – Multitasking: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. A parolee was arrested on felony charges including possession of a controlled substance while armed, possession and transport of narcotics for sale, carrying a loaded and concealed firearm, and being a felon with a gun. Additional charges include parole and probation violations and carrying an unregistered, loaded handgun in public at 11:14 p.m.

Tuesday, May 6

Paraphernalia Possession: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. Police made an arrest for possession of items used for illegal drug activity at 9:30 a.m.
Warrant Arrest: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Officers found someone with an active warrant for their arrest for a felony at 9:55 a.m.
False Financial Statement: 4500 block of Whitecliff Way. An individual reportedly committed financial fraud by utilizing a fraudulent financial statement at 10:00 a.m.
Commercial Burglary: 4900 block of Macdonald Avenue. Burglars forcefully broke into a business at 11:52 a.m.
Trespass: 1500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police made an arrest after a trespasser refused to leave private property after being asked at 12:58 p.m.
Obstructing Police & Shoplifting: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A suspected shoplifter interfered with a police officer and stole merchandise from a business at 5:02 p.m.
Battery: 2400 block of Nevin Avenue. Police made an arrest for simple assault charges at 8:25 p.m.

Wednesday, May 7

Battery: 15500 San Pablo Avenue. Someone physically attacked another person at 4 a.m.

'Sovereign Citizen' Incident: Bay Bridge. An erratic driver claiming “sovereign citizen” status led RPD on a slow pursuit. After failed negotiations, a chemical agent was deployed, and the driver was arrested at 5:45 a.m.
DUI (Drugs): Macdonald Avenue. Police nabbed a driver who was reportedly under the influence of drugs at 6:30 a.m.
Bomb Threat: 2100 block of Maine Avenue. A bomb threat was reported at 7:58 a.m.
Battery: Richmond (Street not specified). Someone physically attacked another person at 8:20 a.m.

Armed suspect evades police after Florida Avenue standoff
A man armed with an assault-style rifle prompted a large police response and a temporary lockdown in a Richmond neighborhood Wednesday before eluding capture, authorities said.


Robbery: 3000 block of Cutting Boulevard. Property was reportedly stolen using force or fear at 3:31 p.m.
Fraud: 1000 block of 36th Street. Someone illegally obtained money or property by misrepresentation at 4:37 p.m.
Robbery: Carlson Boulevard & Cutting Boulevard. More property was reportedly stolen using force or fear at 4:55 p.m.
Battery: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Someone physically attacked another person at 5:39 p.m.
Assault with Deadly Weapon: 900 block of 13th Street. Someone attacked another person with a non-firearm weapon at 6:45 p.m.
Utility Theft: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Police arrested someone for illegally using utilities, damaging power lines, and stealing high-value property at 7:50 p.m.

Thursday, May 8

Assault: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Someone caused injury and made threats at 1:45 a.m.
Commercial Burglary: 8th Street. Burglars entered a business without using force at 7:50 a.m.
Weapons & Drug Violations: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Arrest for multiple firearm and narcotics offenses at 11:10 a.m.
Criminal Threats: 3400 block of Klose Way. Crimes were threatened with intent to terrorize at 1:51 p.m.
Battery: 1400 block of Marina Way South. One person physically attacked another at 3:40 p.m.
Embezzlement: 5000 block of Valley View Road. Someone fraudulently took money or property entrusted to them, valued at over $950 at 5:16 p.m.
Access Card Theft: 400 block of 39th Street. Property over $400 was stolen using a forged or invalid access card at 6:47 p.m.
Drug Violations: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Multiple drug-related offenses, including possession, transportation, and intent to sell at 8 p.m.
Drug Violations: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Arrest for marijuana distribution and excess possession at 8:30 p.m.
Annoying Calls: 600 block of South 26th Street. Someone made harassing phone calls at 10:29 p.m.

Friday, May 9

DUI: Somewhere in the 94806 zip code. A driver was cited for driving with a license suspended due to DUI at 12:20 a.m.
Aggravated Assault: 500 block of South 29th Street. Officers responded to a report of assault with possible great bodily injury at 1:51 a.m.
Stolen Vehicle & Firearms Arrest: Livingston Lane. Stolen car recovered and suspect found with unregistered loaded handgun at 3:12 a.m.

This story was updated on May 9, 2025, at 11:29 a.m. An accident involving a school bus and an SUV at the corner of 26th Street and Gaynor Avenue brought first responders and neighbors to the scene just after 9 a.m. Friday. Neighbors say a White Subaru

Robbery: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. A shoplifting incident escalated into robbery at 11:24 a.m.
Weapons Law Violation: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. Arrest for carrying a concealed weapon and a large-capacity magazine at 12:46 p.m.
DUI: Cutting Boulevard & South Harbor Way. Driver arrested for DUI, failure to obey an officer, and probation violation at 3:41 p.m.
Battery: 4800 block of Central Avenue. A battery incident was reported at 7:25 p.m.
Imitation Firearm: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. An individual displayed an imitation firearm in public; had a prior similar offense at 7:55 p.m.
Injury Hit-and-Run: 12500 block of San Pablo Avenue. A hit-and-run collision resulted in injuries at 10:46 p.m.

Battery, False Imprisonment & Property Damage: 2900 block of Macdonald Avenue. Individual arrested for battery and related charges at 11:15 p.m.

Saturday, May 10

Battery: 500 block of South 29th Street. Report of a battery on a person at 12:09 a.m.
Arson: 600 block of 2nd Street. Property was damaged by an intentionally set fire at 1:05 p.m.
Commercial Burglary: 1100 block of Hensley Street. Forced entry into a commercial location at 3:38 p.m.
Exhibit Firearm: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Suspect reported for publicly exhibiting a firearm at 10:43 p.m.
