Richmond police responded to several violent and property crimes between February 16 and 22, including an attempted murder involving gunfire, multiple shootings at homes, an arson at an inhabited structure, and 24 vehicle thefts reported across the city, according to department logs. The weeklong stretch also included 30 arrests for offenses ranging from domestic violence and weapons violations to drug charges and child abuse, as officers responded to 1,648 calls for service.

Monday, February 16
Vandalism: 2500 block of McBryde Avenue. Property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 1:39 a.m.
DUI causing injury: Roosevelt Avenue. A driver allegedly drove under the influence with a blood alcohol level over 0.08 percent, causing bodily injury at 2:13 a.m.
East Court exodus: 2700 block of East Court. A vehicle was taken without consent at 7:00 a.m.
The 33rd Street swipe: 600 block of South 33rd Street. Another vehicle vanished at 7:29 a.m.
The 42nd Street steal: 100 block of South 42nd Street. A vehicle disappeared at 8:04 a.m.
Auto burglary: Circle Court. A vehicle was broken into at 8:30 a.m.
Harbour Way heist: 1400 block of Harbour Way South. A vehicle was lifted at 8:45 a.m.
Criminal threats: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. A crime was allegedly threatened with intent to terrorize at 9 a.m.
Petty theft: 4400 block of Wall Avenue. Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported at 10:00 a.m.
Criminal threats, firearm brandishing, and domestic battery: 600 block of Maine Avenue. A crime was allegedly threatened with intent to terrorize, a firearm was exhibited, and battery on a spouse or dating partner was reported at 10:19 a.m.
Hilltop heist: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A vehicle was snatched at 10:26 a.m.
Vandalism: 100 block of West Chanslor Avenue. Property damage was reported at 2 p.m.
Residential burglary: 500 block of Alamo Avenue. Police arrested someone after a residence was forcibly entered at 3:15 p.m.
Criminal threats: 1400 block of Coalinga Avenue. A crime was allegedly threatened with intent to terrorize at 3:46 p.m.
Residential burglary and vandalism: 200 block of 5th Street. A residence was forcibly entered, and property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 4:00 p.m.
Petty theft: 600 block of Berk Avenue. Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported at 4:33 p.m.
Multiple weapons violations: Somewhere in the 94805 zip code. Police arrested someone for manufacturing or possessing a large capacity magazine, illegally possessing an assault weapon, obstructing a peace officer, a minor illegally possessing live ammunition, carrying a loaded handgun while not the registered owner, and carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle at 4:56 p.m.
Residential burglary and firearm theft: 600 block of 35th Street. A residence was forcibly entered, and a firearm was stolen at 6:45 p.m.
Stalking: 600 block of Humboldt Street. Stalking was reported at 7:00 p.m.
Residential burglary: 600 block of South 19th Street. Police arrested someone after a residence was forcibly entered at 9:57 p.m.
Auto burglary: 1500 block of Santa Clara Street. A vehicle was broken into at 10:31 p.m.
Tuesday, February 17
West Chanslor caper: 100 block of West Chanslor Avenue. A vehicle was taken without consent at 12:16 a.m.
Child abuse: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. Injury was allegedly inflicted upon a child at 3:18 a.m.
Auto burglary: 3000 block of Howard Street. A vehicle was broken into at 3:26 a.m.
Gone in 60 Seconds: 2800 block of Clinton Avenue. A vehicle was stolen at 5:12 a.m.
Firearm violations: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Police arrested someone for carrying a loaded handgun while not the registered owner and carrying a loaded firearm in public under specific circumstances at 7:02 a.m.
Vandalism: 1000 block of 23rd Street. Property was defaced at 8 a.m.
Auto burglary: 3600 block of Sierra Ridge Avenue. A vehicle was broken into at 9:30 a.m.
Vandalism with prior convictions: 1300 block of Quarry Court. Property damage less than $400 was reported by someone previously convicted of vandalism at 11 a.m.
Firearm brandishing: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. A firearm was exhibited at 12:05 p.m.
Petty theft: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A theft was reported at 12:53 p.m.
Vehicle tampering: 300 block of South 28th Street. A vehicle was allegedly tampered with at 4:36 p.m.

Vandalism and criminal threats: 600 block of 15th Street. Property damage valued at $400 or more was reported, and a crime was allegedly threatened with intent to terrorize at midnight.
The 19th Street snatch: 600 block of 19th Street. A vehicle was taken without consent at 12:39 a.m.
Domestic battery: 100 block of Chanslor Avenue. Police arrested someone for battery on a spouse or dating partner at 1:48 a.m.
False imprisonment: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Police arrested someone for aggravated assault at 4 a.m.
Auto burglary: 300 block of South 35th Street. A vehicle was broken into at 5:58 a.m.

The 23rd Street steal: 1000 block of 23rd Street. A vehicle was taken without consent at midnight.

Disorderly conduct: 1500 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Police arrested someone suspected of being disorderly under the influence at 2:08 a.m.
Battery: 500 block of 19th Street. A battery on a person was reported at 2:41 a.m.
Firearm discharge: 2700 block of Moyers Road. A firearm was discharged in a grossly negligent manner at 2:57 a.m.
Esmond Avenue exodus: 3500 block of Esmond Avenue. A vehicle was stolen at 7:30 a.m.
Attempted murder: 600 block of 22nd Street. A ShotSpotter gunfire detection system alerted Richmond police to shots fired at 1:35 p.m. Officers were on scene within four minutes of the alert.
