Richmond police logged an attempted murder on South Hampton Court, multiple robberies and aggravated assaults, several cases involving children or elders, and at least 11 vehicles reported stolen across the city between July 6 and 12. Officers also made arrests for DUI, illegal firearms possession, commercial burglaries and drug-related offenses.

Disorderly conduct: 3600 block of Sierra Ridge Avenue. Police arrested a person accused of making repeated harassing calls to 911 at 12:24 a.m.
Drug paraphernalia: 300 block of 27th Street. Police took a report of possession of unlawful paraphernalia and a controlled substance at 7:25 a.m.
Grand theft: 100 block of Santa Fe Avenue. A resident reported stolen motor vehicle parts or accessories at 8:57 a.m.
Domestic violence: 600 block of 8th Street. A person was taken into custody on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse or cohabitant and willful cruelty to a child at 9 a.m.
Drug possession: Via Verdi and El Portal Drive. A person was arrested on suspicion of possessing a controlled substance, a stolen vehicle and unlawful paraphernalia at 10:20 a.m.
Reckless driving: 94805. A driver was cited for reckless driving on a highway at 10:20 a.m.
Vehicle theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A vehicle was reported stolen at 10:36 a.m.
Domestic battery: 3100 block of Pullman Avenue. A person was arrested on suspicion of battery involving a spouse or ex-spouse at 12:05 p.m.
DUI: 94804. A driver was cited for driving with a license restricted for a prior DUI at 1:30 p.m.
Domestic battery: 2800 block of Tulare Avenue. Police arrested a person on suspicion of battery involving a spouse or ex-spouse at 2:29 p.m.
Grand theft: 1400 Hilltop Mall Road. A theft from a building was reported at 3:31 p.m.
Vehicle theft: 300 block of South 49th Street. A vehicle was reported stolen at 3:50 p.m.
Auto burglary: 900 block of Cutting Boulevard. A report was filed for a vehicle break-in at 4:44 p.m.
Contempt of court: 300 block of Marina Way South. Someone disobeyed a court order at 5:33 p.m.
Petty theft: 400 block of Civic Center Street. Police logged a petty theft report at 6:24 p.m.
Vandalism: 12th Street. A report of vehicle tampering came in at 8 p.m.
Child abuse: 5100 block of Columbia Avenue. A person was arrested on suspicion of inflicting injury on a child at 9:18 p.m.
Grand theft: 2400 block of Nevin Avenue. Police took a grand theft report at 11:48 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 2400 block of Virginia Avenue. A vehicle was reported stolen at 1:35 a.m.
Shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. A person was arrested on a grand theft charge following an alleged shoplifting incident at 2:39 p.m.
Domestic violence: 3100 block of Garrity Way. A person was arrested on suspicion of corporal injury to a spouse, cohabitant or dating partner, and assault with force with possible great bodily injury, at 5:28 p.m.
Drug paraphernalia: Harbour Way and Nevin Avenue. Police arrested a person on suspicion of possessing unlawful paraphernalia and a controlled substance at 5:35 p.m.
Torched: Somewhere in the 94806 zip code. A stolen vehicle was recovered, and a report of arson came in at 7:02 a.m.
DUI: 94804. A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:15 p.m.
Grand theft: 5400 block of Highland Avenue. Someone reported a grand theft at 8 p.m.
Commercial burglary: 1000 block of Market Avenue. A person was arrested on suspicion of a forced-entry break-in and vandalism causing $400 or more in damage at 9:25 p.m.
Drug possession: 94804. A person was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia at 10:09 a.m.
Drug possession: 900 block of Triangle Court. A report was filed for possession of a controlled substance and unlawful paraphernalia, along with disobeying a court order, at 10:38 p.m.
Domestic violence: 300 block of South 15th Street. A report came in of corporal injury to a spouse, cohabitant, or dating partner at 11 a.m.
Vandalism: 300 block of 28th Street. A person was arrested on suspicion of vandalism causing $400 or more in damage at 11:39 a.m.
Vehicle theft: 2800 block of Oxford Avenue. A vehicle was reported stolen, and items were taken from inside, though it was later recovered at midnight.

Elder abuse: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was arrested on suspicion of causing harm to an elder or dependent adult, vandalism causing $400 or more in damage, and a criminal threat at 4:25 p.m.
Probation violation: 94801. A person was arrested on a felony probation violation, for giving false identification to a peace officer, and possessing burglary tools at 6:31 p.m.
Petty theft: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Someone reported a petty theft at 7:37 p.m.
