Monday, July 7, 2025

Court contempt combo: 400 block of 22nd Street. One individual was arrested after a double dose of trouble: contempt of court for disobeying a court order and selling drug paraphernalia to a minor at 1:00 a.m.

Vehicle vanishes: 700 block of 5th Street. Someone borrowed a car without asking at 2:50 a.m.

Commercial break-in: 900 block of Spring Street. Burglars forced their way into a commercial building at 3:36 a.m.

Another auto theft: 700 block of 30th Street. Vehicle thieves struck again at 4 a.m.

Quality of life concerns: 1000 block of Cutting Boulevard. A challenge to engage in fisticuffs was issued at 4:25 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1300 block of Hensley Street. A stolen vehicle was returned to its rightful owner at 9:29 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 700 block of 5th Street. Another forced entry into a commercial building was reported at 10:54 a.m.

Vehicle parts pilfering: 100 block of Harbour Way South. Thieves removed motor vehicle parts at 2:46 p.m.

Double trouble: 600 block of 31st Street. Vehicle theft and property damage were both reported at 2:52 p.m.

Warrant woes: Marina Way & Macdonald Avenue. A felony warrant arrest was made at 7 p.m.

Identity theft: 6300 block of Jerilynn Avenue. Someone used another person’s identity to obtain credit at 7:05 p.m.

Another auto theft: 2300 block of Lowell Avenue. A vehicle has been re-homed at 9 p.m.

Warrant arrest: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A misdemeanor warrant arrest was made at 10:22 p.m.

Arson: 94801 zip code. A blaze-loving buzz-seeker was arrested on arson and drug paraphernalia charges at 10:59 p.m.

DUI driver: 1000 block of Hensley Street. Alcohol-impaired driving incident at 1:08 a.m.

Spontaneous lead discharge: 600 block of S 20th Street. Someone willfully discharged a firearm in a grossly negligent manner at 1:33 a.m.

Burglary tools bust: 1700 block of Florida Avenue. Possession of burglary tools and drug paraphernalia led to an arrest at 2:45 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 94803 zip code. Someone acquired a new ride, much to the original owner’s dismay at 3 a.m.

Weapon waving: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Baby, when it’s 3 a.m., I’m out here making criminal threats — can’t help flashing a firearm and catching an intimidation charge.

Residential break-in: 300 block of S 42nd Street. Someone forced entry into a home at 9:59 a.m.

Weapon display: 2500 block of Bissell Avenue. Someone exhibited a deadly weapon and made criminal threats at 10:44 a.m.

Failing to register: 4800 block of Reno Lane. A sex offender failed to register at 11:11 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 94801 zip code. A stolen vehicle was returned at 11:14 a.m.

DUIs all the way down: 94801 zip code. Someone was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and doing so with a license suspended for DUI at 5:59 p.m.

Trigger happy: 94804 zip code. Someone willfully and negligently discharged a firearm at 1:42 a.m.

Warrant arrest: 100 block of W Macdonald Avenue. A felony warrant arrest was made at 4:35 a.m.

Auto burglary: 4100 block of Klose Way. A vehicle break-in was reported at 10:32 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 94804 zip code. Another stolen vehicle was found at 10:33 a.m.

Residential burglary: W Bissell Avenue. A burglar made an unlawful entry into a residence at 1:23 p.m.

Shoplifting: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Merchandise was acquired without purchase at 3:59 p.m.

Firearm exhibition: 94804 zip code. Exhibiting a firearm at 4:03 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 94804 zip code. A stolen vehicle was returned at 5:22 p.m.

Card fraud: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Theft using a forged or invalid access card at 6:58 p.m.

Drug possession: 94806 zip code. Police made an arrest on drug paraphernalia and providing false identification to police charges at 10:06 p.m.

Homicide: 900 block of 9th Street. Police responded to a ShotSpotter activation at 11:46 p.m.

Drug possession: 94804 zip code. Someone was in possession of marijuana that was said to be for sale at 2:07 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 1500 block of Mariposa Street. A car found itself in the hands of an uninvited new owner at 2:15 a.m.

Auto burglaries: 200 block of Ohio Avenue. Two separate vehicle break-ins at 2:48 a.m. and 2:50 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2600 block of Maricopa Avenue. A stolen vehicle was returned at 5:16 a.m.

Mail theft: 3200 block of Southridge Drive. Theft of mail was reported at 10:19 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 3100 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A stolen vehicle was returned at 11:16 a.m.

Weapon assault: 94805 zip code. Police made an arrest for assault with a deadly weapon and criminal threats at 12:21 p.m.

Theft from the elderly: 94804 zip code. Theft of an elder/dependent adult and strong-arm robbery at 1:33 p.m.

Identity fraud: 1900 block of Mendocino Street. Using another person’s identity to obtain credit at 3:08 p.m.

Shoplifting spree: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. It was reported someone had shoplifted AND committed petty theft at 5:09 p.m.

Assault with force: Cutting Boulevard & S 2nd Street. Police made an arrest for assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury at 6:15 p.m.

Auto parts theft: 2500 block of Esmond Avenue. More theft of motor vehicle parts at 6:48 p.m.

Battery: 1000 block of Lassen Street. An assault was reported at 7:40 p.m.

Battery: 200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Another assault was reported at 8:30 p.m.

High-value heist: 1000 block of 23rd Street. A grand theft left someone significantly lighter in the wallet department at 9:32 a.m.

Joyride reunion: 1000 block of 23rd Street. A stolen vehicle was recovered on the same block at 9:34 a.m.

Stalker shutdown: 2900 block of Humphrey Avenue. Authorities intervened in a stalking situation at 10:12 a.m.

Auto looters: 300 block of South 36th Street. Thieves helped themselves to a car’s contents at 12:08 p.m.

Drug gear grab: 94801 zip code. Police confiscated unlawful paraphernalia at 1:31 p.m.

Wheels back home: 400 block of S 7th Street. Police made an arrest, and a stolen vehicle was returned to its owner at 3 p.m.

Strong-arm shopping: 12000 block of San Pablo Avenue. A shoplifter reportedly used force or the threat of force to avoid being apprehended while stealing at 3:30 p.m.

Car break-in blues: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. An auto burglar struck while the iron was hot at 3:56 p.m.

Courtroom defiance: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Someone thought court orders were merely suggestions at 6 p.m.

Five-finger discount: 1400 block of Merced Street. Petty theft proved once again that small crimes still count at 6:35 p.m.

Tipsy driver: 300 block of S 7th Street. A DUI arrest showed that 0.08% is indeed a magic number at 7:20 p.m.

Midnight mischief: 900 block of Triangle Court. Burglars hit a vehicle, then stayed to vandalize it at 10 p.m.

Forced confinement: 600 block of 7th Street. A violent altercation led to unlawful restraint at 11 p.m.

Midnight meddling: 900 block of 9th Street. One vandal couldn’t resist tampering with someone else’s transportation at 1:30 a.m.

Saturday morning swiping: 94804 zip code. A four-wheeled friend found a new, unwanted owner at 10 a.m.

Plastic piracy: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A card-criminal deployed digital deception for fraudulent financial gain at 1:22 p.m.

Stolen car: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Another automotive acquisition artist struck gold at 1:51 p.m.

Parts purloining: 2800 block of Jo Ann Drive. A scavenger cherry-picked premium vehicle components at 4:37 p.m.

Merchandise misappropriation: 4100 block of Markovich Court. A light-fingered larcenist struck at 7:51 a.m.

Paraphernalia possession: 5700 block of Central Avenue. Questionable contraband was discovered at noon.

Motor theft: 3100 block of Garrity Way. A vehicular vanishing virtuoso performed their craft at 12:37 p.m.
