Trouble on Greenway: 1200 block of Greenway Drive. One miscreant managed a trifecta of crimes: vandalism valued under $400, grand theft, and vehicle tampering, all occurring at 1:30 a.m.
Railroad recovery: Railroad Avenue. A stolen vehicle was returned to its rightful owner at 7:20 a.m.
Fraudulent financial finagling: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Someone's financial scheme was uncovered at 9 a.m.
License-less locomotion: In the 94804 zip code. A suspended license couldn't stop one determined driver from getting busted for DUI-related violations at 9:30 a.m.
Smash-and-grab: 500 block of Marina Way. An auto burglar struck at 10:05 a.m.
Building bandit: 400 block of 28th Street. A theft from a building netted reports of grand theft at 10:30 a.m.
Burglary: 5600 block of Doremus Avenue. Another building burglar struck at 11 a.m.
False imprisonment: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. False imprisonment with violence was reported at noon.
Shoplifting: Macdonald Avenue. Petty theft occurred at noon.
Lakeside vandalism: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. Felony-level property damage exceeding $400 was reported at noon.
Meeker misdeed: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Grand theft was reported at 12:09 p.m.
Terroristic threats: Washington Avenue. Officers made an arrest after criminal threats were issued at 12:30 p.m.
Residential ransacking: 800 block of South 46th Street. A no-force residential burglary occurred at 2:57 p.m.
Whins Court wreckage: 5000 block of Whins Court. Property destruction was reported at 5:14 p.m.
Vehicular vanishing: In the 94801 zip code. A car theft was reported at 6 p.m.
Amador Avenue appropriation: 700 block of Amador Street. A theft from a building was reported at 7:38 p.m.
Expect More. Pay Nothing: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Shoplifting occurred at 8:27 p.m.
Sierra Ridge shenanigans: 3600 block of Sierra Ridge Avenue. Vandalism under $400 was reported at 9 p.m.
Car theft: 2400 block of Lancaster Drive. Someone was borrowing a car indefinitely at 9:30 p.m.
Strong-arm robbery: In the 94801 zip code. A strong-arm robbery was reported at 11 p.m.
Macdonald mayhem: 2300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A dangerous weapon robbery and aggravated assault occurred, leading to an arrest at 11:32 p.m.
Tuesday, July 1
Bayside burglary: 100 block of Bayside Court. Grand theft was reported at 2 a.m.
Parkway pilfering: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Someone liberated a set of wheels at 2:53 a.m.
Nevin Avenue nuisance: 300 block of Nevin Avenue. Minor vandalism was reported at 4:16 a.m.
Humphrey heist: 2700 block of Humphrey Avenue. An unsanctioned redistribution of automotive assets was reported at 4:25 a.m.
Early morning auto theft: The 94801 zip code. Someone learned their vehicle had been lost to the night at 8 a.m.
Custody complications: 1600 block of Summer Lane. Court contempt and custodial deprivation charges were filed at 8:30 a.m.
Tulare trouble: 2800 block of Tulare Avenue. An auto burglary occurred at 8:50 a.m.
Minor theft: 500 block of Marina Way. Petty theft was reported at 9:27 a.m.
Grand theft: The 94803 zip code. A grand theft was reported at 10 a.m.
Third Street troubles: 600 block of 3rd Street. Felony vandalism and auto burglary were reported at 10:40 a.m.
Nelson Drive nabbing: 4300 block of Nelson Drive. Grand theft was reported at 11:28 a.m.
Armed robbery: 1000 block of Nevin Avenue. A firearm-assisted robbery occurred at 12:34 p.m.
Threatening crime with the intent to terrorize: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. Criminal threats were made at 12:46 p.m.
Esmond embezzlement: 1500 block of Esmond Avenue. Grand theft was reported at 1:07 p.m.
Hilltop hassle: 2800 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Someone was reportedly violating a court order at 1:09 p.m.
Chanslor car caper: 100 block of West Chanslor Avenue. A vehicle theft occurred at 2:35 p.m.
Fourth Street felony: 600 block of 4th Street. Felony vandalism and vehicle tampering occurred at 3:45 p.m.
Chanslor criminal threats: 2400 block of Chanslor Avenue. Felony-level criminal threats were made at 4:02 p.m.
Car theft: 2500 block of Rheem Avenue. Another vehicle was spirited away to the criminal underworld at 4:21 p.m.
Car theft: 3200 block of Center Avenue. Another vehicle vanished at 4:38 p.m.
Identity theft: 500 block of Willard Avenue. Identity theft for fraudulent purposes was reported at 5:25 p.m.
Follette felony: 100 block of Follette Street. An auto burglary occurred at 6 p.m.
Merchandise mischief: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. More shoplifting occurred at 7 p.m.
Hilltop heavy damage: 2500 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Felony-level vandalism occurred at 8:18 p.m.
Vehicle theft: 100 block of West Bissell Avenue. Another car was taken without the consent of the owner at 9 p.m.
Nevin nuisance: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. Petty theft from a motor vehicle was reported at 9:20 p.m.
DU: The 94801 zip code. An alcohol-impaired driver was busted at 10:52 p.m.
Wednesday, July 2
Midnight vandalism: The 94806 zip code. Minor property damage was reported at 12:46 a.m.
Dawn drug dealing: The 94801 zip code. Police made an arrest after possession and purchase of narcotics for sale was reported at 2:15 a.m.
Commercial break-in: 1100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A forced commercial burglary occurred at 3:44 a.m.
Chanslor car theft: 1400 block of Chanslor Avenue. A car thief engaged in automotive appropriation at 6:18 a.m.
Chanslor car theft: 100 block of Chanslor Circle. Another vehicle was liberated at 8:04 a.m.
24th Street scam: 500 block of 24th Street. Identity theft for fraudulent purposes was reported at 9:24 a.m.
Andrade Burglary: 3200 block of Andrade Avenue. A forced residential burglary occurred at 9:31 a.m.
Bayview banditry: 4900 block of Bayview Avenue. A car thief gave someone else's ride a new zip code at 10:40 a.m.
Center Street caper: 3300 block of Center Avenue. Petty theft was reported at 2:08 p.m.
Sixth Street gun show: 600 block of 6th Street. A veritable arsenal of charges, including large capacity magazines, loaded handguns, concealed weapons, and marijuana dealing, led to a trip to the Gray Bar Hotel at 7:01 p.m.
Aggravated assault: 400 block of South 23rd Street. Police made an arrest on aggravated assault charges after a suspect reportedly made criminal threats and assaulted someone with a deadly weapon at 2 p.m.
16th Street snatch: 600 block of 16th Street. Petty theft was reported at 8 p.m.
Elevated with the juice of the grape: The 94804 zip code. An alcohol-impaired driver faced dual charges at 9:39 p.m.
Thursday, July 3
Central Avenue caper: 5200 block of Central Avenue. Grand theft was reported at midnight.
Potrero parts pilfering: 3900 block of Potrero Avenue. Motor vehicle parts theft occurred at 12:31 a.m.
Driving while under the influence: In the 94804 zip code. An alcohol-impaired driver was busted at 1:29 a.m.
Lost and found: In the 94801 zip code. A stolen vehicle was recovered, and possession of a stolen vehicle charges were filed at 2:51 a.m
Hinkley heist: 2400 block of Hinkley Avenue. A vehicle theft occurred at 4 a.m.
Car part theft: 300 block of South 36th Street. Motor vehicle parts theft occurred at 8:45 a.m.
Guns and threats: West Richmond Avenue. Criminal threats and firearm exhibition occurred at 11:19 a.m.
Central Avenue crash: 4800 block of Central Avenue. A hit-and-run with property damage occurred at noon.
Macdonald mayhem: 2200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Threats against school personnel, battery, battery against emergency personnel, and elder abuse all reported at 2:45 p.m.
Seventh Street smashing: 800 block of 7th Street. Felony vandalism occurred at 2:53 p.m.
Auto burglary: In the 94804 zip code. An auto burglary occurred at 3 p.m.
High on Hartnett: 5000 block of Hartnett Avenue. Someone was arrested for marijuana possession for sale and residential burglary at 5:25 p.m.
Missing car: 600 block of Williams Drive. A vehicle theft occurred at 7 p.m.
Vehicle recovery: In the 94804 zip code. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 8:13 p.m.
Drug violations: 5000 block of Hartnett Avenue. More marijuana dealing occurred at 10:35 p.m.
Aggravated assault: 12400 block of San Pablo Avenue. Dual aggravated assault with deadly weapon charges were filed at 10:39 p.m.
Friday, July 4
Independence Day arsenal: In the 94804 zip code. Multiple firearm charges, including loaded handguns and concealed weapons, were filed at 12:37 a.m.
Macdonald merchandise grab: 3600 block of Macdonald Avenue. Petty theft occurred at 3:30 a.m.
Drug violations: 500 block of South 30th Street. Police made an arrest on obstruction of officers and disorderly conduct occurred at 4:13 a.m.
Grant Avenue grab: 2000 block of Grant Avenue. An auto burglary occurred at 7:23 a.m.
Solano snatching: 3900 block of Solano Avenue. Grand theft was reported at 9:00 a.m.
Carriage cache: 5200 block of Carriage Drive. Large capacity magazines and assault weapons were discovered at 9 a.m.
Coalinga conflict: 1500 block of Coalinga Avenue. A strong-arm robbery occurred at 11 a.m.
16th Street snatch: 100 block of 16th Street. More petty thieving was reported at 11:30 a.m.
Third Street theft: 200 block of 3rd Street. An auto burglary occurred at 11:53 a.m.
Fireworks: In the 94804 zip code. Fireworks were seized at 2 p.m.
Macdonald mischief: Macdonald Avenue. Motor vehicle parts theft and auto burglary occurred at 3:04 p.m.
Fireworks festivities: Multiple fireworks violation citations were issued throughout the evening from 5:27 p.m. to 10:42 p.m.


Macdonald mega-arsenal: West Macdonald Avenue. A massive weapons cache, including machine guns, assault weapons, and large-capacity magazines, was discovered at 8:23 p.m. The alleged gun aficionado was arrested on charges including possession of a machine gun, manufacturing, selling, or transferring an assault weapon, carrying a loaded firearm with a prior felony conviction, possession of a short-barreled firearm, manufacture or possession of a large-capacity magazine, possession of a firearm by a felon or addict, and illegal possession of an assault weapon.
Fifth Street fireworks: 700 block of 5th Street. Fireworks possession without a permit was reported at 8:32 p.m.
Illegal fireworks: 500 block of 8th Street: Police took a report for illicit activity of fireworks in violation of Richmond Municipal Code at 9 p.m.
Fireworks violation: An additional fireworks-related violation was logged, with no specific street listed at 9:17 p.m.
Fireworks: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police recorded a fireworks violation at this central location, again citing unauthorized possession or use at 9:40 p.m.
Late-evening fireworks complaint: Police took a report for illegal fireworks activity in violation of the Richmond Municipal Code at 10:42 p.m.
Gaynor Avenue obstruction: 2300 block of Gaynor Avenue. An officer obstruction occurred, and an arrest was made at 10:44 p.m.
Seventh Street smashing: 800 block of 7th Street. More felony vandalism occurred at 11:11 p.m.
Saturday, July 5
Fall Avenue fracas: 4600 block of Fall Avenue. An assault with force causing great bodily injury occurred at midnight, resulting in an arrest for aggravated assault.
Parkway pestering: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Annoying and harassing repeat calls occurred at 3:33 a.m.
Thomas Drive break-in: 700 block of Thomas Drive. A forced residential burglary occurred at 5:18 a.m.


Drug paraphernalia possession: In the 94801 zip code. Officers made an arrest on drug equipment violation charges at 1:18 p.m.
Battery: South 45th Street. Police arrested someone for simple assault after an altercation was reported at 4:57 p.m.
Macdonald break-in: 1000 block of Macdonald Avenue. A no-force residential burglary occurred at 6:34 p.m.
Sunday, July 6, 2025
Fast and Furious: El Portal Drive & Fordham Street. A suspect was arrested on multiple charges after reportedly leading officers on a chase with "wanton disregard for safety" in a stolen vehicle, resisting arrest at El Portal Drive & Fordham Street, and assaulting an officer with a deadly weapon at 3:30 a.m.
Custody violations: Police station. Someone allegedly violated custody or visitation rights at 10:19 a.m.
Vandalism: 500 block of 5th Street. Vandalism under $400 was reported at 11 a.m.
Driving with a license suspended for DUI: In the 94801 zip code. A driver was cited for operating a vehicle while their license was suspended due to a DUI at 11:34 a.m.
Assault with a deadly weapon: 200 block of South 8th Street. A trifecta of poor life choices unfolded when someone decided to make criminal threats, assault someone with a deadly weapon, and then wave said weapon around for good measure. When officers arrived at 12:44 p.m., they added resisting arrest to their growing collection of charges–allegedly!
