Drug possession with arrest: A narcotics nabbing netted charges for controlled substances and paraphernalia possession at 1:05 a.m.

Vandalism: 2500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A vandal caused felony-level damage at 1:11 a.m.

Chemically inconvenienced driver: 5400 block of Solano Avenue. A suspected drunk driver was busted for alcohol impairment and driving with a suspended license at 2:43 a.m.

Residential burglary: 400 block of South 15th Street. A forceful intruder broke into someone’s home at 4:02 a.m.

Vandalism: 300 block of West Macdonald Avenue. Morning mischief brought felony-level property damage at 8:18 a.m.

Vandalism: 300 block of Civic Center Plaza. Property destruction valued at less than $400 occurred at 9:50 a.m.

Battery: 2300 block of Maine Avenue. A physical altercation erupted at 11:54 a.m.

Armed robbery: A robber wielding a dangerous weapon struck at noon in the 94801 area.

Residential burglary: 3000 block of De Anza Drive. A forceful break-in occurred at 2:12 p.m.

Building theft: 800 block of 10th Street. A petty thief targeted a building at 3:30 p.m.

Shoplifting: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A sticky-fingered shopper was caught red-handed at 3:38 p.m.

Auto burglary: 900 block of Marina Way South. A car break-in was reported at 3:56 p.m.

Vandalism: 600 block of 5th Street. Felony-level property damage struck at 6:02 p.m.

Credit card fraud: 1200 block of Fred Jackson Way. A financial fraudster used fake cards to make purchases of over $400 at 7:28 p.m.

Armed robbery: A firearm-wielding robber struck at 10:23 p.m. in the 94801 area.

Tuesday, June 24

Weapons violation with arrest: 600 block of 15th Street. A deadly weapon display, vandalism, and terroristic threats erupted at 8:09 a.m.

Vandalism: 2500 block of Nevin Avenue. Felony-level property damage occurred at 8:10 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 600 block of Berk Avenue. A car was temporarily relocated to parts unknown at 9:33 a.m.

Richmond police tow 71 abandoned vehicles in southern district cleanup operation
The Richmond Police Department removed 71 abandoned and unregistered vehicles from city streets Wednesday as part of a targeted tow operation aimed at addressing community concerns over blight in the city’s southern district.

Commercial burglary: 3600 block of Macdonald Avenue. Someone flagged down an officer to report a business break-in at 10:23 a.m.

Multiple charges with arrest: 3100 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A suspect faced false ID charges, drug possession, and multiple warrants at 10:55 a.m.

Vandalism: West Macdonald Avenue. Property damage under $400 was reported at 11:57 a.m.

Petty theft: 100 block of Collins Street. A thief struck at 1:56 p.m.

Credit card fraud: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A forged access card theft exceeding $400 occurred at 2:25 p.m.

Residential burglary: 5900 block of Orchard Avenue. A non-forceful break-in occurred at 2:41 p.m.

Shoplifting: 3600 block of Klose Way. A retail thief struck at 4:10 p.m.

Auto parts theft: 10600 block of San Pablo Avenue. Vehicle accessories were stolen at 4:34 p.m.

Battery: Bissell Avenue. A physical altercation occurred at 5:16 p.m.

Soliciting lewd act: 33rd Street. A caller dialed 911 to report someone was letting it all hang out at 5:33 p.m. Officers made an arrest for the solicitation of a lewd act.

Attempted murder: 200 block of 2nd Street. A man was stabbed multiple times and taken to the hospital at 6:33 p.m. Police made an arrest for aggravated assault the next day.

Auto burglary: 4100 block of Klose Way. A car break-in occurred at 7:30 p.m.

Vandalism: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Felony-level property damage occurred at 8 p.m.

Auto burglary with fraud: 4100 block of Klose Way. A car break-in resulted in the theft of an access card at 8:13 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 1400 block of Gaynor Avenue. A repeat vehicle thief struck at 9 p.m.

Residential burglary: 700 block of Jetty Drive. A non-forceful break-in occurred at 9 p.m.

Battery: 800 block of Harbour Way South. A physical altercation erupted at 9:15 p.m.

Battery: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. A physical fight occurred at 11:22 p.m.

Wednesday, June 25

Vehicle recovery with arrest: The 94801 zip code. Police arrested a suspect for felony possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of unlawful paraphernalia, and recovered a stolen vehicle at 4:14 a.m.

Vehicle embezzlement: 2900 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A leased vehicle was unlawfully kept at 8:58 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 3000 block of Humphrey Avenue. Theives looted a car for its parts at 10:40 a.m.

Fraud and battery: 400 block of 6th Street. Handwriting forgery and a physical altercation occurred at 12:49 p.m.

Financial fraud: 1000 block of Heritage Court. False pretenses netted over $400 at 2:31 p.m.

Drug arrest: Bissell Avenue. Police arrested a suspect for possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor disorderly conduct due to being under the influence in public at 5:20 p.m.

Auto burglary: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Two separate car break-ins were reported at 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. 

Vehicle theft: 6200 block of Columbia Avenue. Someone’s ride has gone on an unscheduled adventure with a new chauffeur driver at 6:42 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: The 94804 zip code. Police returned a stolen car to its owner at 7:20 p.m.

Shoplifting: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A retail thief entered a business with the intention of stealing merchandise at 7:30 p.m.

Thursday, June 26

Auto burglary: 2800 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. A car break-in occurred at 3 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 100 block of Shoreline Court. Someone borrowed a car without asking or planning to return it at 6:46 a.m. 

Petty theft: 10300 block of San Pablo Avenue. A thief stole property at 8:16 a.m.

Petty theft: 1900 block of San Benito Street. A thief struck at 9:40 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 800 block of Yuba Street. Another car was lost to the night and reported to police at 9:55 a.m.

Auto burglary: 2500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Someone broke into a car and rummaged through the belongings at 10:19 a.m.

Criminal threats: 2200 block of Cutting Boulevard. A caller reported receiving terroristic threats at 10:34 a.m.

Auto burglary: 700 block of Payne Drive. A resident reported that someone had broken into their car at 10:43 a.m.

Drug possession with arrest: The 94804 zip code. Police made an arrest after narcotics were found at 11:29 a.m.

Petty theft: 2700 block of Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. Property was stolen at 1:12 p.m.

Petty theft: 4800 block of Central Avenue. A thief struck at 2:08 p.m.

Defrauding an innkeeper: 3600 block of Sierra Ridge Road. This crime occurs when someone obtains food, fuel, services, or accommodations from establishments such as hotels, restaurants, or campgrounds without paying, with the intent to defraud. 

Petty theft: 800 block of South 49th Street. Property was pinched at 5:42 p.m.

Vehicle tampering: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Persons unknown tampered with a vehicle at 7 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 600 block of Wilson Avenue. Someone took a car on an unauthorized test drive at 7:04 p.m.

Vandalism: 100 block of 29th Street. Property damage under $400 occurred at 9:04 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1400 block of Garvin Avenue. A stolen car was located at 10:02 p.m.

Friday, June 27

Petty theft: 600 block of 8th Street. Property was illegally appropriated at 12:08 a.m.

Vandalism: 600 block of 8th Street. Felony-level property damage occurred at 12:24 a.m.

Petty theft: 2500 block of Maine Avenue. A thief struck at 7:09 a.m.

Aid fraud: 4100 block of Overend Avenue. Government aid fraud over $400 occurred at 8 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 2600 block of Emeric Avenue. A car was stolen at 8:08 a.m.

Auto parts theft: 1900 block of Hill Avenue. Vehicle accessories were stolen at 8:12 a.m.

Drug possession with arrest: Controlled substances were found at 9:32 a.m.

Vandalism with arrest: 1400 block of Harbour Way South. Felony-level property damage occurred at 12:47 p.m.

Criminal threats with arrest: 100 block of South 23rd Street. Terroristic threats were made at 2:28 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: A robber used physical force at 3 p.m.

Traffic violations: 12000 block of San Pablo Avenue. A driver who attempted to evade police and drove recklessly on the highway was found not to have a license when police caught up with him at 3:48 p.m.

False ID with arrest: 100 block of 1st Street. Public intoxication and false identification to officers at 4:46 p.m.

Smash-and-grab: 300 block of South 9th Street. A car break-in occurred at 5:02 p.m.

Petty theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Property was absconded with at 5:31 p.m.

Public nuisance: Macdonald Avenue area. A public nuisance was maintained at 5:34 p.m. A public nuisance is something that affects the entire community or a large number of people, interfering with their common rights.

Vehicle theft: 900 block of Triangle Court. Another car was found missing at 8 p.m.

Shoplifting with arrest: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A retail thief was caught at 8:02 p.m.

Public intoxication: Marina Bay Parkway. Someone overestimated their capacity at 9:11 p.m.

Assault with force: 900 block of South 47th Street. A violent attack took place at 9:14 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 800 block of 6th Street. A vehicle was spontaneously adopted by a stranger at 9:30 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: 900 block of View Drive. A robber didn’t use a weapon when taking someone’s belongings at 9:55 p.m.

Battery: 300 block of Nevada Avenue. Some sort of physical altercation was reported at 10:06 p.m.

Driving while under the influence: The 94804 zip code. Police nabbed a suspected drunk driver at 10:36 p.m.

Saturday, June 28

Criminal threats: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Someone made terroristic threats and annoying phone calls at 3 a.m.

Methy arrest: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Police arrested someone on felony controlled substances charges at 8:20 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 3600 block of Center Avenue. A car proved so irresistible someone couldn’t help but take it home at 9:36 a.m.

Fireworks violation: Undisclosed location in the 94801 zip code. Someone reportedly illegally possessed fireworks at 10:31 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Another car disappeared into the criminal underworld at 11:35 a.m.

Trespassing: 1400 block of Fred Jackson Way. It was reported that property was being unlawfully occupied at 1:30 p.m.

Check fraud: West Chanslor Court. Someone used a fictitious check at 2:02 p.m.

Petty theft: 3600 block of Sierra Ridge Avenue. Property was reportedly stolen at 3:22 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: A robber used physical force to unburden someone of their possessions at 3:56 p.m.

Sunday, June 29

Vehicle theft and vandalism: 2800 block of Foothill Avenue. A car thief also caused felony-level property damage at 4:08 a.m.

Drug use with arrest: 100 block of 1st Street. A substance abuser resisted officers at 7:46 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2700 block of Hinkley Avenue. A stolen car was found at 8:48 a.m.

Vehicle theft with arrest: A car thief was caught red-handed at 10:53 a.m.

Vehicle theft: In the 94804 zip code. Another car was stolen at 11:45 a.m.

Battery: In the 94804 zip code. A physical altercation occurred at 12:44 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 600 block of Harbour Way. A car was stolen at 2:00 p.m.

Public intoxication: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. It was reported that someone was under the influence of an intoxicating beverage at 3:07 p.m.

Petty theft: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Property was pocketed at 4 p.m.

Battery: 4300 block of Ohio Avenue. A physical fight erupted at 4:42 p.m.

Armed robbery: Tewksbury Avenue. A firearm-wielding robber struck at 10:22 p.m.
