Monday, May 19

Residential burglary: 3400 block of Wall Avenue. A forced entry residential burglary was reported at 3:33 a.m.

Battery: 700 block of 9th Street. Officers investigated a battery incident at 6:07 a.m.

Warrant arrest: 12700 block of San Pablo Avenue. Officers executed a felony warrant at 11:02 a.m.

Elder abuse and fraud: 6000 block of Orchard Avenue. Police received reports of  theft from an elder/dependent adult and obtaining money by false pretenses at 11:36 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. A vehicle was reported missing at 2:32 p.m.

Grand theft: 800 block of Ripley Avenue. Officers investigated a grand theft at 2:53 p.m.

Multiple felony incident: 700 block of South 13th Street. Officers made an arrest for multiple charges, including commercial burglary, kidnapping, assault with a firearm, false imprisonment, armed robbery, firearms violations, and gang participation at 5:02 p.m.

Vandalism: 3700 block of Wall Avenue. Property was vandalized at 5:19 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2400 block of Powell Street, Emeryville. A stolen car was recovered at 5:30 p.m.

Criminal threats: 100 block of 22nd Street. Officers arrested someone for making criminal threats at 6:36 p.m.

Identity theft: 4800 block of Central Avenue. Officers investigated the use of another's identity to obtain credit at 6:38 p.m.

Stalking: Third Street area. Officers investigated a stalking case at 8:04 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: 2400 block of Lancaster Drive. A strong-arm robbery was reported at 8:30 p.m.

Pickpocketing: 4300 block of Lakeside Drive. Police received word of an artful dodger's handiwork at 8:36 p.m.

Grand theft: 500 block of 23rd Street. Officers investigated a grand theft at 9:40 p.m.

Contempt of court: 400 block of Marina Way. Someone was violating a court order at 11:35 p.m.

Tuesday, May 20

Vandalism: 600 block of 4th Street. Officers investigated vandalism under $400 at 12:18 a.m.

Harassing phone calls: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. Someone was reciving annoying/threatening telephone calls at 10 a.m.

Grand theft: Richmond area. Officers investigated a grand theft at 11:11 a.m.

Warrant arrest: 2800 block of Pullman Avenue. Officers executed a felony warrant at 11:52 a.m.

Criminal threats: 100 block of Railroad Avenue. Threats were made of a criminal nature at 12:54 p.m.

Grand theft: Kay Road & Rachel Road area. Officers investigated a grand theft at 1:21 p.m.

Battery: 400 block of 21st Street. Officers made an arrest for battery at 2:26 p.m.

Credit card fraud: 4100 block of Klose Way. Officers investigated theft using access card information at 5:04 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2400 block of San Luis Street. Officers recovered a stolen vehicle at 5:24 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 3800 block of Klose Way. Persons unknown forced entry to a commercial building at 5:46 p.m.

Drug violations and resisting arrest: Richmond area. Officers made an arrest for public intoxication and resisting arrest at 8:48 p.m.

Disorderly conduct: 4900 block of MacDonald Avenue. Officers made an arrest for alcohol-related disorderly conduct at 11:55 p.m.

Wednesday, May 21

Shooting at dwelling: 3200 block of Ohio Avenue. Shots were fired at an inhabited dwelling at 12:34 a.m.

Vandalism: 2800 block of Center Avenue. Officers made an arrest for felony vandalism over $400 at 5:59 a.m.

Sexual battery: The 94801 zip code. Officers investigated felony sexual battery at 6:29 a.m.

Warrant arrest: 2800 block of Howard Street. Someone with a misdemeanor warrant was arrested at 9:11 a.m.

Vandalism: 1200 block of Virginia Avenue. Officers investigated property damage at 11 a.m.

Contempt of court: 1000 block of Lassen Street. A  court order was reportedily being violate at 2:14 p.m.

Elder abuse: 600 block of 32nd Street. Officers investigated reprots of elder/dependent adult cruelty at 3:40 p.m.

Extortion: 900 block of S 47th Street. Officers investigated extortion by threat at 5:07 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 100 block of S 6th Street. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 6 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 4400 block of Center Avenue. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 6:30 p.m.

Contempt of court: 1000 block of Lassen Street. Officers made an arrest for violation of a court order at 6:52 p.m.

Contempt of court: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Officers investigated a violation of a court order at 8 p.m.

Drug and stolen property violations: 2200 block of Giant Road, San Pablo. Officers made an arrest for possession of narcotics for sale, possession of cocaine base for sale, possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of controlled substances, and possession of a stolen vehicle at 8:10 p.m.

Grand theft: 200 block of Tunnel Avenue. Officers investigated a grand theft at 11 p.m.

DUI with drugs: Richmond area. Officers made an arrest for DUI with prior convictions, possession of controlled substances, and driving with restricted license at 11:43 p.m.

Thursday, May 22 

Assault with firearm: 2000 block of Visalia Avenue. Officers investigated an assault with a firearm at 1:48 a.m.

Vehicle theft: Richmond area. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 6 a.m.

Auto burglary: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Officers investigated an auto burglary at 7:44 a.m.

Vehicle theft: Richmond area. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 8 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 600 block of 9th Street. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 9:46 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1000 block of S 57th Street. Officers recovered a stolen vehicle at 10:54 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 700 block of 9th Street. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 11:24 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 300 block of South Street. Officers recovered a stolen vehicle at 12:12 p.m.

Battery and contempt: 300 block of South Seventh Street. Officers made an arrest for battery and violation of a court order at 12:52 p.m.

Shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Officers investigated shoplifting at 2:22 p.m.

Vandalism: 700 block of 35th Street. Officers investigated felony vandalism over $400 at 2:33 p.m.

Battery: 500 block of Wine Street. Officers investigated a battery at 4:25 p.m.

Armed robbery: Richmond area. Officers investigated a robbery with a knife/cutting instrument at 6:50 p.m.

Grand theft from a building: 300 block of Canal Boulevard. Officers investigated grand theft from a building at 7:30 p.m.

Vandalism: W Richmond Avenue area. Officers investigated felony vandalism over $400 at 8 p.m.

Battery: 300 block of S 13th Street. Officers investigated battery incidents at 10:01 p.m.

Vandalism: 400 block of Harbour Way S. Officers investigated felony vandalism over $400 at 10:14 p.m.

Petty theft and vandalism: Bayside Court area. Officers investigated petty theft and vandalism under $400 at 10:30 p.m.

Kidnapping and armed robbery: 12500 block of San Pablo Avenue. Officers investigated kidnapping, armed robbery with a firearm, and unlawful use of tear gas at 11:45 p.m.

Friday, May 23

Vandalism: 200 block of Tunnel Avenue. Officers investigated felony vandalism over $400 at 3:31 a.m.

Mental health emergency: First Street & MacDonald Avenue area. Officers responded to a mental health crisis at 6:34 a.m.

Traffic violation: Roosevelt Avenue area. Officers cited someone for driving with a suspended license for DUI at 8:03 a.m.

Historic Mira Flores building damaged by fire as volunteers participate in cleanup
A fire broke out at a historic Mira Flores building Friday morning as volunteers were conducting a cleanup event at the adjacent Greenbelt Park, according to city officials.

Harassing phone calls: 2100 block of Maine Avenue. Officers investigated annoying/threatening telephone calls at 12:49 p.m.

Police evasion: 12th Street & Barrett Avenue area. Someone evaded a peace officer at 1:07 p.m.

Grand theft: Richmond area. Officers investigated a grand theft at 1:53 p.m.

Armed robbery: 1500 block of Cutting Boulevard. An armed robbery with firearms was reported at 5:20 p.m.

Shooting: Richmond Parkway & Giant Road area. Officers investigated a shooting at an inhabited dwelling or vehicle at 6:02 p.m.

Trespassing: 4500 block of MacDonald Avenue. Police were called after someone refused to leave at 8:41 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 200 block of S 5th Street. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 10 p.m.

Auto burglary: 4100 block of Klose Way. Officers investigated auto burglary at 10:01 p.m.

Saturday, May 24

Attempted murder and assault with a firearm: 2700 block of Center Avenue. Officers investigated attempted murder with a firearm and assault with a firearm at 12:34 a.m. Police received a ShotSpotter activation of three rounds fired. A few minutes later, someone walked into Kaiser with a gunshot wound to the arm.

Vehicle theft with burglary tools: 700 block of Virginia Avenue and 300 block of S 5th Street. Officers made an arrest for vehicle theft and possession of burglary tools at 12:35 a.m.

Firearms violations: 94804 area. A firearm aficionado was said to have multiple firearms violations, including possession of a large capacity magazine, carrying a loaded/concealed handgun at 1:21 a.m.

Assault with force: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. Officers made an arrest for assault with force likely to cause great bodily injury at 5:03 a.m.

Grand theft: 1400 block of Hayes Street. Officers investigated a grand theft at 8 a.m.

Trespassing: 4100 block of Cutting Boulevard. Officers made an arrest for trespassing on posted land at 8:56 a.m.

Criminal threats: 1200 block of MacDonald Avenue. Officers made an arrest for threatening a school/public employee at 11:45 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. Officers recovered a stolen vehicle at 12:34 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 900 block of 36th Street. Officers investigated a vehicle theft at 3:10 p.m. RPD recovered it!

Vandalism: 300 block of S 3rd Street. Officers investigated property damage at 3:45 p.m.

Grand theft: 500 block of Jetty Drive. Officers investigated a grand theft at 4 p.m.

Trespassing: 1000 block of Factory Street. Someone reportedly refused to leave a posted property at 4:57 p.m.

Saturday, May 25, 2025

DUI: First Street & Nevin Avenue. Multiple DUI charges were filed against a driver at 12:39 a.m., including driving under the influence of alcohol and driving with a blood alcohol content of 0.08 percent or higher.

Vehicle recovery: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 2:29 a.m.

Criminal threats: 3100 block S Hampton Ct - Suspect made criminal threats with intent to terrorize and violated court order at 11:55 a.m.

Vehicle Theft: 1700 block Costa Avenue. A vehicle was taken without the owner's consent at 9:10 a.m.

Vandalism: 4900 block San Pablo Dam Road. Property damage reported at 9:24 a.m.

Criminal threats: 5000 block of Giant Road. POlice arrested a suspect for intimidation for reportedly making threats with intent to terrorize at 9:37 a.m.

Burglary: 2100 block Hilltop Mall Road. Auto burglary was reported at 10:38 a.m.

Burglary: 200 block South Garrard Boulevard. Auto burglary reported at 12:15 p.m.

Aggravated assault: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. Police responded to reports of battery with serious bodily injury at 1 p.m.

DUI: 100 block South 17th Street. A driver was said to be driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:28 p.m.

Strong arm robbery: 1300 block Macdonald Avenue. Strong-arm robbery incident at 3:30 p.m.

Vandalism: 5200 block Prather Avenue. Some sort of property damage was reported at 8:16 p.m.

Hit & Run/DUI: The 94804. A driver involved in a hit-and-run property damage incident was reportedly under the influence of an intoxicating beverage at 8:39 p.m.
