Richmond police recently responded to a mix of incidents across the city, including a robbery, assaults, thefts, vandalism and domestic violence cases, according to department records.

Monday, April 20

Car theft: 2900 block of Hoffman Boulevard. A car owner stepped outside to find the curb bare at 1 a.m.

Obstruction: 1700 block of Coalinga Avenue. A person was arrested for obstructing an officer at 2:38 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 500 block of 2nd Street. A thief got into a parked vehicle at 3 a.m.

Car theft: 600 block of S. 37th Street. A car was reported missing at 7:30 a.m.

Car theft: 600 block of Nevin Avenue. Another car gone at 11 a.m.

Criminal threats: 4800 block of Central Avenue. Someone made threats that rose to the level of a crime at 12:08 p.m.

Domestic battery: 600 block of S. 26th Street. A domestic battery was reported at 12:20 p.m.

Vandalism: 2900 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Someone damaged property at 1:38 p.m.

Car theft: 700 block of S. 40th Street. Thieves relieved a car owner of their vehicle at 4 p.m.

Criminal threats: Undisclosed location in 94603. Someone made threats that rose to the level of a crime at 4 p.m.

Vandalism: 1300 block of Rheem Avenue. Vandals were at work around 5 p.m.

Domestic battery, child abuse: 200 block of 16th Street. Domestic battery and child abuse were reported at 6 p.m.

Child abuse: 3400 block of Cutting Boulevard. A child was reported to have been harmed at 6:17 p.m.

Car theft: 1100 block of 23rd Street. Someone relieved the owner of their vehicle at 6:50 p.m.

Domestic battery, robbery, false imprisonment: 700 block of Ripley Avenue. Charges indicate a person was beaten, robbed, and held against their will at 9 p.m.

Petty theft: 4900 block of Macdonald Avenue. Someone made off with property that wasn’t theirs at 9:45 p.m.

Car theft: 800 block of Chesley Avenue. A thief made off with a car while the street was quiet at 10:30 p.m.

Tuesday, April 21

Illegal firearm possession: 1700 block of Costa Avenue. A person was found in illegal possession of a firearm at 12:57 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 3100 block of Bristol Court. A vehicle was broken into and property taken at 2 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 3500 block of Cerrito Avenue. Someone was caught tampering with a vehicle at 2:57 a.m.

Domestic battery: Undisclosed location in 94804. An arrest was made after a domestic dispute turned physical at 4 a.m.

Felon in possession of a firearm: Undisclosed location in 94801. A convicted felon was found carrying a firearm and arrested at 4:07 a.m.

Car theft: 5200 block of Tehama Avenue. Someone took it in the small hours and was long gone by dawn.

Trespassing: 3100 block of Southampton Court. A trespass was reported at 10:47 a.m.

Aggravated battery: 1200 block of 23rd Street. A person was badly attacked at 4 p.m.

Vandalism: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Someone damaged property at 5:20 p.m.

Disorderly conduct: 200 block of S. 7th Street. Someone caused a disturbance at 8:06 p.m.

Domestic battery: 2300 block of Rheem Avenue. An arrest was made after a domestic dispute reportedly turned physical at 8:10 p.m.

Theft from vehicle: 600 block of 17th Street. A thief helped themselves to items inside a parked vehicle at 9 p.m.

Wednesday, April 22

Drug possession and paraphernalia: Undisclosed location in 94804. A drug-related incident was reported at 12:27 a.m.

Vandalism: 4900 block of Hartnett Avenue. Police arrested someone after property was damaged at 12:37 a.m.

Identity fraud: 2200 block of Virginia Avenue. An identity fraud was reported at 5 a.m.

Vandalism: Undisclosed location in 94801. Property was vandalized at 10:27 a.m.

Trespassing: 3100 block of Southampton Court. Someone was found where they had no business being at 11:30 a.m.

Criminal threats: 3900 block of Fleming Avenue. A person was reported for making criminal threats at 11:40 a.m.

Vandalism: 200 block of S. 15th Street. Police arrested someone after property was damaged at 1:06 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 800 block of Harbour Way S. Burglars got into a business at 1:56 p.m.

Vandalism: 1400 block of San Joaquin Street. A vandal left their mark at 2:39 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 700 block of Humboldt Street. Officers located a stolen vehicle at 2:48 p.m.

Identity fraud: 400 block of South 8th Street. An identity fraud was reported at 5:52 p.m.

Petty theft: 2700 block of Rydin Road. A theft was reported at 7 p.m.

Reckless driving: Undisclosed location in 94804. A driver was cited for reckless driving at 8:56 p.m.

Fraud: 1100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A fraud was reported at 9:37 p.m.

Thursday, April 23

Car theft: 500 block of S. 37th Street. Someone made someone else’s ride disappear at 12:30 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 700 block of South 15th Street. A thief broke into a parked vehicle at 1 a.m.

Car theft: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. Another car was stolen out from under the neighborhood’s nose at 5:16 a.m.

Car theft: 1600 block of Gaynor Avenue. The owner woke to nothing but an empty space where their car used to be.

Trespassing, probation violation: 2300 block of Aberdeen Way. Someone was found where they shouldn’t be at 7:11 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 100 block of 13th Street. Someone was caught tampering with a vehicle at 7:25 a.m.

Child abuse, criminal threats: 3600 block of Waller Avenue. A domestic dispute reportedly turned violent and threatening at 9:01 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1600 block of Livingston Lane. A stolen vehicle turned up at 11:26 a.m., worse for the journey.

Vehicle recovery: 900 block of Carlson Boulevard. Another stolen vehicle turned up at 11:36 a.m.

Court order violation: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. A court order violation was reported at 1 p.m.

Battery: Undisclosed location in 94801. Police arrested someone after a person was physically attacked at 1:28 p.m.

Battery: 5000 block of Valley View Road. Someone was assaulted at 2:22 p.m.

Theft from vehicle: 700 block of S. 41st Street. Someone broke into a vehicle and took property at 4:13 p.m.

Vandalism: 2800 block of Martin Luther King Junior Avenue. Someone damaged property at 4:33 p.m.

Criminal threats: Undisclosed location in 94804. A person was reported for making criminal threats at 5:35 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. A car that had gone missing turned up at 9:33 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A previously missing car was found at 10:12 a.m.

Car theft: 600 block of 13th Street. The owner came back to an empty curb and a sinking feeling at 10:37 a.m.

Child abuse, domestic battery: 1800 block of Roosevelt Avenue. A child was reported to have been harmed at 10:37 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 4300 block of Sycamore Avenue. Officers located a stolen vehicle at 11:36 a.m.

Criminal threats: 3000 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A person was reported for making criminal threats at 2:09 p.m.

Theft from building: 11900 block of San Pablo Avenue. Property was stolen from inside a building at 2:20 p.m.

Illegal firearm possession: Undisclosed location in 94806. Police arrested someone found in illegal possession of a firearm at 3:06 p.m.

Assault with a deadly weapon, domestic battery: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A person was assaulted with a deadly weapon at 3:08 p.m.

Domestic battery: 3500 block of Klose Way. An arrest was made after a domestic dispute at 4:09 p.m.

Car theft: Undisclosed location in 94801. Someone walked up, got in, and drove someone else’s car away at 6 p.m.

Vehicle tampering: Undisclosed location in 94804. Someone was caught tampering with a vehicle at 9:50 p.m.

Armed carjacking: 200 block of 2nd Street. An armed thief forced a driver from their vehicle at 10:44 p.m.

Grand theft: 1600 block of Potrero Avenue. A significant theft was reported at 4 a.m.

Car theft: Undisclosed location in 94801. A car was stolen off the street at 11:20 a.m.

Drug paraphernalia, shoplifting: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A drug-related incident was reported at 2:20 p.m.
