2nd Annual Spring Art Stroll is today!
Arts of Point Richmond, Point Richmond Neighborhood Council, and PRAM are pleased to present the 2nd annual Spring Art Stroll. The Annual Spring Art Stroll is back this year, offering a day of art and fun for people of all ages in historic Pt. Richmond. The organizers invite you to "wear a hat and enter the Easter bonnet contest, activities, and Easter egg hunt for kids, a new round of outdoor art banners, browse sidewalk art vendors, view exhibitions in six local galleries, dine in local restaurants, and more. Park Place Street will be closed to auto traffic for this event. Children’s activities are from 11 am -1 pm, and there will be a DJ from
11 am - 2:30 pm.


Annies Annual's hosts Talk Tomatoes TODAY in the nursery! Come prepared with all your questions and get ready to learn the secrets of successful tomato growing from Oakland-born and raised tomato farmer Matthew Sylvester. Matthew will discuss his favorite tomatoes, based on microclimate, space, soil, usage, and other things to consider when deciding which tomato varieties to plant.

The Masquers Playhouse is proud to announce their in-person Crab Feed is back! Join us Saturday, April 29th, at the Point San Pablo Yacht Club, 700 West Cutting Blvd, for a healthy serving of Dungeness crab, pasta, salad, and dessert. In addition to a sit-down dinner, the evening will feature entertainment, raffle prizes, Plinko, and more. Doors open at 5 pm, dinner will be served at 7 pm. Tickets are $75 per person. Beverage tickets for the no-host bar will be available for purchase at the yacht club. All proceeds go to the Masquers Playhouse.

Harps from Around the World: Demonstration at West Side Branch Join us at the West Side Branch at 135 Washington Ave. on Wednesday, April 12th, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM for History of the Harp with Diana Stork and Teed Rockwell. Learn about harps of Africa, the British Isles, Latin America, and of indigenous peoples of the Andes. Enjoy some special Irish music for spring! Annual Literacy Festival- Saturday, April 29th
Join the City of Richmond and community partners for the Annual Literacy Festival! This amazing event will take place on Saturday, April 29th from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at the Civic Center Plaza: 450 Civic Center Plaza, Richmond. The Factory Bar is proud to sponsor the upcoming Outdoor Richmond Mural Scholarship Fundraising Concert and Event on April 23. Proceeds benefit Kairos Youth Choir. Come and listen to this amazing choir perform in front of the Richmond Mural at 12:30 pm, then stroll over to The Factory Bar's patio for a fundraising event (21 and over event). Help send these kids to Greece this year!!!

First annual Citywide Garage Sale Saturday, May 13, 2023,
9:00 am – 3:00 pm. This is an opportunity to encourage residents to reuse and recycle locally while reducing clutter. CSD-Recreation will be taking registrations for garage sales from now until April 14th. Residents sign up to host a garage sale in front of their homes, and there is a $10 fee. Once registration is over, we will create a map/list of all of the garage sale locations On the day of the event, shoppers use the map to go to browse the various garage sales in Richmond.
