Richmond held its annual Juneteenth celebration, including the ever-popular parade, Saturday, much to the delight of onlookers and participants alike.

Starting from Booker T. Anderson Park in the city's historic Pullman Neighborhood and ending at Nicholl Park for the festival. Observers waved as the parade passed by, energetically cheering for the participants, including Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia, Mayor Eduardo Martinez, former mayor and councilmember Nat Bates, councilmembers past and present, Richmond Police and Fire, and assorted organizations joining in the fun.
