San Pablo police officers say they arrested multiple suspects and recovered a stolen vehicle Wednesday night following a high-speed chase through a Richmond neighborhood.

Officials say the vehicle came to an abrupt stop on McBryde Avenue after driving over a curb. The driver quickly surrendered while the other occupants fled and were seen running through backyards in the area.

A video posted online shows two subjects jumping from a slowly moving vehicle on McByde Avenue and disappearing into nearby properties. The suspects were located in the backyard of a residence with the assistance of the Richmond Police Department, the Sheriff's Department, a police K9, and a drone.

Inside the vehicle, officers found items used to break into cars along with assorted stolen goods.

On Nextdoor, Berkeley resident Anthony Librizzi said it was his 2016 Kia Sorrento that was stolen overnight from Santa Rosa Avenue.

"We just called the tow company, and the car was in a high-speed chase, has a lot of damage, and is un-drivable," Librizzi wrote.
