From domestic violence and firearms violations to vehicle thefts and DUIs, Richmond police logged numerous arrests and investigations between October 13 and 20, 2025. Officers responded to attempted murder, sexual assault, multiple domestic violence cases, and a steady stream of property crimes scattered across the city.

Richmond crime incidents

Monday, October 13

Domestic violence and assault: 3100 block of Southampton Court. Police responded to reports of a conflict involving violations of court orders, residential burglary, assault with force likely to produce significant bodily injury, and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 12:13 a.m.

Mobile asset misappropriation: 400 block of W Richmond Avenue. An automobile was taken without consent at 12:30 a.m.

Residential burglary: 100 block of S 5th Street. A home was entered without force at 2:45 a.m.

Petty theft: W Macdonald Avenue. The ancient art of taking what wasn't theirs was practiced at 9:37 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 600 block of 27th Street. An automobile changed hands in a manner not blessed by law at 3 p.m.

Multiple firearm charges: 1000 block of Wright Avenue. Officers discovered a loaded firearm in a vehicle in a public place, a concealed weapon, a large capacity magazine, and an illegally possessed assault weapon at 3:33 p.m.

Sexual assault: 3800 block of Nevin Avenue. Police investigated reports of a rape case involving force, fear, and an unconscious victim at 6:30 p.m.

Domestic violence: 800 block of Chesley Avenue. Someone inflicted corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 11 p.m.

Hot wheels: 300 block of S 38th Street. An automobile was taken without consent at 11:30 p.m.

Tuesday, October 14

Domestic battery: 500 block of S 24th Street. Officers responded to reports of domestic violence at 12:51 a.m.

Gone in 60 seconds: 2300 block of Northshore Dr. Another car was taken without consent at 7 a.m.

Contempt of court: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Someone was said to have defied a court order at 8 a.m.

Deadly weapon: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A person exhibited a deadly weapon other than a firearm at 11:21 a.m.

Battery: 2300 block of Lancaster Drive. Police responded to a report of a physical altercation at 1:13 p.m.

Battery: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. Another physical altercation was reported at 1:50 p.m.

Petty theft: 1000 block of Market Avenue. A theft was reported at 2:04 p.m.

Contempt of court: 600 block of Yuba Street. A court order was seemingly disobeyed at 2:08 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: 2400 block of Nevin Avenue. A robbery without weapons transpired at 2:28 p.m.

Petty theft: 3600 block of Klose Way. A small theft was reported at 2:48 p.m.

Battery: 1300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was assaulted at 2:58 p.m.

Aggravated assault: 1300 block of Burbeck Avenue. Police responded to a battery with serious bodily injury at 3 p.m.

Criminal threats: W Richmond Avenue. A person threatened to commit a crime with the intent to terrorize at 3:21 p.m.

Domestic battery and stalking: 800 block of 30th Street. Officers investigated battery on a spouse and stalking at 4:57 p.m.

Grand theft: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. A theft was reported at 5:51 p.m.

Multiple drug and weapon charges: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. Officers discovered controlled substances and metal knuckles at 6:43 p.m.

Petty theft: 2600 block of Andrade Avenue. A theft was reported at 7 p.m.

Warrant arrest: Macdonald Avenue. A person with an outstanding felony warrant was apprehended at 7:01 p.m. 

Mail theft: 1200 block of Melville Square. Someone committed mail theft at 8:10 p.m.

Hit-and-run and DUI: 500 block of 8th Street. A driver fled after causing property damage and was found to be under the influence of alcohol at 11:04 p.m.

Wednesday, October 15

Vandalism: Location unspecified. Some property was defaced at midnight.

Vehicle recovery: 10900 block of San Pablo Avenue. Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 8:34 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 200 block of 6th Street. Another stolen vehicle was recovered at 10:44 a.m.

Domestic violence: 2500 block of Lancaster Drive. It was reported that someone inflicted corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 11 a.m.

Fraud: 1600 block of Esmond Avenue. Police investigated a bad actor obtaining money by false pretenses at 12:07 p.m.

Assault with a deadly weapon: 12100 block of San Pablo Avenue. A weapon was wielded with malicious intent at 12:44 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 4100 block of Klose Way. Another car disappeared into the criminal underworld at 1 p.m.

Multiple charges: 800 block of 7th Street. Police arrested a suspected burglar after responding to a residential burglary with force. Officers also discovered unlawful paraphernalia and controlled substances at 1:38 p.m.

Domestic violence: 12600 block of San Pablo Avenue. Police arrested someone after responding to reports of domestic violence at 2:18 p.m.

Auto burglary: 2900 block of Andrade Avenue. A vehicle was broken into at 4:18 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 1100 block of Parkridge Drive. An automobile was taken on an unauthorized test ride at 5 p.m.

Disorderly conduct: 2000 block of San Mateo Street. Reported public intoxication led to an arrest on drug charges at 5:35 p.m.

Robbery: 12200 block of San Pablo Avenue. A robbery transpired at 6:20 p.m.

Multiple DUI and assault charges: 200 block of S 37th Street and 3800 block of Florida Avenue. A driver operated under the influence of alcohol and assaulted others with a deadly weapon, then was arrested after reportedly resisting officers at 7:18 p.m. 

Multiple violent charges: 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police arrested someone after responding to an incident involving attempted murder with a knife, criminal threats, assault on a child under 8 with great bodily injury, and inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant at 10:01 p.m.  

Smash and grab: 800 block of 38th Street. A vehicle was broken into at 11:24 p.m.

Extortion: 400 block of S 22nd Street. An extortion attempt was reported at 11:30 p.m.

Auto burglary: 3200 block of Annapolis Avenue. A vehicle was broken into at 11:53 p.m.

Thursday, October 16

Battery: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. A person was attacked at 4 a.m. The same incident escalated to battery on a peace officer at 7:08 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 3000 block of De Anza Drive. Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 9:54 a.m.

Harassment: 4400 block of Whitecliff Way. Someone harassed and tormented another by making personal identification information public at 1:43 p.m.

Domestic violence: 1700 block of Burbeck Avenue. Someone violated a court order to prevent domestic violence at 4:47 p.m.

Radio interference: Undisclosed location in the 94801 zip code. Someone obstructed public safety radio frequencies at 5:10 p.m.

Vandalism: 100 block of 23rd Street. Property was defaced at 6:43 p.m.

Battery: 3800 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was attacked at 9:52 p.m.

Friday, October 17

Battery: 1100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was attacked at 1:29 a.m.

DUI: Macdonald Avenue. A driver was busted for driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:56 a.m. 

Petty theft from vehicle: 700 block of Maine Avenue. A car was pilfered at 7:04 a.m.

Auto burglary: 2500 block of Pine Avenue. A vehicle was broken into at 11:14 a.m.

Petty theft: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. Theft was reported at 12:12 p.m.

Vandalism: 12200 block of San Pablo Avenue. Property damage under $400 was reported at 2:12 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 6300 block of Highland Avenue. Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 3:28 p.m.

Contempt of court: 19th Street. A court order was seemingly disobeyed at 5:32 p.m.

Multiple firearm charges: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Officers arrested someone on aggravated assault charges after responding to criminal threats and assault with a firearm on a person at 6:58 p.m.  

Vehicle theft: 300 block of S 23rd Street. An automobile was taken without consent at 8 p.m.

Saturday, October 18

Aggravated Assault: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Someone reportedly inflicted corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant and was arrested at 12:15 a.m. 

Firearm discharge: Robert Miller Drive & Hilltop Drive. A firearm was willfully discharged in a grossly negligent manner at 2 a.m.

Battery: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A person was attacked at 3:31 a.m.

Multiple drug charges: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Someone was arrested after police discovered controlled substances and paraphernalia at 9:44 a.m. 

Vehicle theft: Undisclosed location in the 94806 zip code. An automobile was taken without consent at 10:22 a.m.

Vandalism: 1000 block of 23rd Street. Property damage over $400 was reported at 10:36 a.m.

Domestic battery and child abuse: 3100 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Officers responded to reports of battery on a spouse and willful cruelty to a child at 11:25 a.m.

Battery: Isabel Street. Police responded to reports of a physical altercation at 11:30 a.m.

Multiple fraud and theft charges: 800 block of Meadow View Drive. Officers investigated identity theft and grand theft at 11:56 a.m.

Battery: 2500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person was reportedly assaulted at 12:22 p.m.

Fraud: 3100 block of Moran Avenue. Police investigated obtaining money by false pretenses at 12:24 p.m.

Petty theft: 1500 block of Carlson Boulevard. Theft was reported at 2:42 p.m.

Illegal firearm: 1000 block of Heritage Court. Someone was said to have illegally possessed an assault weapon at 4 p.m.

Assault with a deadly weapon: Undisclosed location in the 94804 zip code. A weapon was wielded with malicious intent at 9:59 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: 12200 block of San Pablo Avenue. A robbery without weapons transpired at 10:55 p.m.

Sunday, October 19

DUI: Undisclosed location in the 94801 zip code. A driver operated under the influence of alcohol at 1:30 a.m.

Domestic battery and criminal threats: 400 block of S 12th Street. Police received reports of battery on a spouse and criminal threats at 2:07 a.m.

Vandalism: 5200 block of Imperial Avenue. Someone was busted for causing property damage under $400 at 2:21 a.m.  

Multiple charges: 300 block of S 13th Street. Someone in contempt of court was reportedly committing battery on a spouse at 7:58 a.m.

Grand theft: 600 block of 21st Street. A theft was reported at 10:31 a.m.

Multiple violent charges: 700 block of S 40th Street. Officers responded to an incident involving kidnapping, assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury, inflicting corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant, attempting to remove a firearm from a peace officer, and resisting a public officer at 11:47 a.m.

Domestic battery: 700 block of 23rd Street. A person allegedly committed domestic violence at 4:57 p.m.

Multiple charges: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. Police investigated battery, exhibiting a deadly weapon other than a firearm, and criminal threats at 10:28 p.m.
