

From vandalism and domestic violence to weapons found on school campuses, Richmond police logged a flurry of arrests and investigations between October 6 and 12, 2025. Officers responded to multiple DUIs, armed robbery, several domestic violence cases, and a spate of property crimes scattered across the city.
Richmond crime incidents
Monday, October 6
Battery: 1000 block of 23rd Street. A person laid hands on another in violence at 12:52 a.m.
Drug paraphernalia: 700 block of Ohio Avenue. Officers discovered paraphernalia at 2:24 a.m.
Multiple drug and burglary charges: Unknown location in the 94804 zip code. A fellow was arrested after accumulating the whole sorry catalogue of crime: warrants, narcotics possession, burglary tools, and controlled substances at 2:51 a.m.
Vandalism: 1900 block of Meeker Avenue. Someone with a history of defacing property returned to their calling at 6:30 a.m. An arrest was made, though redemption remains uncertain.

Petty theft: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. The ancient art of taking what wasn’t his was practiced at 7:30 a.m.
Vehicle theft: 2600 block of Andrade Avenue. An automobile changed hands in a manner not blessed by law at 8:17 a.m.
Vandalism: 800 block of S 19th Street. A vandal returned to deface property at 9:28 a.m. An arrest was made.
Driving on a suspended license: Unknown location in the 94804 zip code. A driver was busted for driving with a suspended license at 11:27 a.m.
Petty theft: 3600 block of Klose Way. A small theft was committed at 11:34 a.m.
Contempt of court: 1700 block of Hellings Avenue. Someone defied a court order and was arrested at 3:14 p.m.
Criminal threats: 600 block of S 26th Street. A person threatened crime with intent to terrorize at 3:25 p.m.
Vandalism: 1400 block of Carlson Boulevard. Property was defaced at 3:44 p.m.
DUI: In the 94806 zip code. A driver operated under the influence of drugs and was arrested at 7:31 p.m.
Firearm and child endangerment: 400 block of S 19th Street. Officers responded to a willful discharge of a firearm in a grossly negligent manner and willful cruelty to a child at 7:40 p.m.
Auto burglary: 1500 block of Hoffman Boulevard. A vehicle was broken into at 9:15 p.m.
Tuesday, October 7
Multiple domestic violence charges: 2300 block of Emeric Avenue. Police responded to a domestic violence report, arresting one person at 1:01 a.m.
Vandalism and auto burglary: 700 block of S 41st Street. Property was defaced, and a vehicle was broken into at 8:32 a.m.
Multiple drug charges: 1700 block of Burbeck Avenue. Officers discovered controlled substances and paraphernalia and made an arrest at 9 a.m.
Assault: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A physical altercation was reported at 12:05 p.m. An arrest was made.
Grand theft: Somewhere in the 94801 zip code. Police investigated a theft at 1:16 p.m.
Vandalism: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Property damage under $400 was reported at 2:50 p.m.
Domestic battery: 3100 block of Birmingham Drive. A person was arrested after a reported physical altercation at 3:30 p.m.
Driving on restricted license: in the 94804. A driver with DUI restrictions violated those terms at 8:36 p.m.
Vehicle theft: 2000 block of Garvin Avenue. An automobile was taken without consent at 10 p.m.
Multiple domestic violence charges: 800 block of S 45th Street.
Police responded to a domestic violence report at 11:13 p.m. One person was arrested.
Wednesday, October 8
Vandalism: 13th Street. Officers arrested someone after property was defaced at 8:18 a.m.
Battery: 3200 block of Leona Avenue. A person was reportedly struck at 8:55 a.m.
Sex crimes: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. Police made an arrest at 12:15 p.m.
Residential burglary: 1900 block of Meeker Avenue. A home was forcibly entered at 2 p.m.
Warrant arrest: 3100 block of Garrity Way. A person with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant was apprehended at 2:13 p.m.
Multiple domestic violence and assault charges: 4300 block of Potrero Avenue. Officers responded to a domestic violence report and assault with force likely to produce great bodily injury at 4:19 p.m.
Assault with deadly weapon: 100 block of 6th Street. A weapon was wielded with malicious intent at 5:05 p.m.
Driving on suspended license: In the 94806. A driver with DUI restrictions violated those terms at 6:16 p.m.
Harassment: 3200 block of Tulare Avenue. Repeat calls were made with the intent to annoy at 7:00 p.m.
Robbery: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A shoplifter was arrested on robbery charges after reportedly being confronted by loss prevention staff at 8 p.m.
Contempt of court: 400 block of 5th Street. A court order was disobeyed at 9 p.m.
Multiple domestic violence charges: 700 block of 21st Street. Officers responded to reports of domestic violence with priors and willful cruelty to a child at 9:53 p.m. An arrest was made for aggravated assault.
Thursday, October 9
Disorderly conduct: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. Public intoxication was reported at 2:22 a.m. An arrest was made.
Residential burglary: 100 block of W Barrett Avenue. A home was entered without force at 2:47 a.m.
Vandalism: 3500 block of Bissell Avenue. Property was defaced at 3:07 a.m.
Driving on suspended license: In the 94806. A driver with DUI restrictions violated those terms at 9:47 a.m.
Contempt of court: 1700 block of Burbeck Avenue. A court order was disobeyed at 11:44 a.m. An arrest was made.
Weapon on school grounds: 4301 Cutting Boulevard. Police received word of a firearm at school at 11:50 a.m.
Petty theft from vehicle: 400 block of 21st Street. A car was pilfered at 1:42 p.m.
Battery on school property: 3400 block of Macdonald Avenue. A physical altercation occurred on school grounds at 1:43 p.m.
Battery: 300 block of S 23rd Street. A person was struck at 3:15 p.m.
Petty theft: 1600 block of Dunn Avenue. Theft was reported at 4:22 p.m.
Multiple DUI charges: In the 94804. A driver with prior DUI convictions drove on a suspended license while intoxicated and violated probation at 5:30 p.m. An arrest was made.
Vehicle theft: 400 block of 3rd Street. An automobile was taken without consent at 6:00 p.m.
Petty theft: 3500 block of Esmond Avenue. Theft was reported at 6:11 p.m.
Battery: 3900 block of Center Avenue. A person was struck at 7:10 p.m.
Domestic violence: 1800 block of Hellings Avenue. Someone reportedly violated a domestic violence court order at 7:58 p.m.
Drug paraphernalia: In the 94801. Paraphernalia was discovered at 8:57 p.m.
Stalking: 3100 block of Southampton Court. Officers investigated stalking, residential burglary with force, and probation violation at 9:30 p.m.
Armed robbery: 900 block of 23rd Street. A robbery involving a firearm transpired at 9:58 p.m.
Friday, October 10
Registration violations: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Someone failed both the 30-day and annual registration updates at midnight.
Assault on officer: In the 94801. Officers responded to a battery on a spouse, assault on a peace officer, probation violation, and drug paraphernalia at 12:35 a.m.
Damage to power lines: Location unspecified in the 94804. Power connecting lines were damaged at 2:41 a.m.
Multiple domestic violence and firearm charges: 900 block of 24th Street. Violence and weapons joining hands reportedly led to an arrest on charges of injuring a spouse and possession of a loaded handgun by a non-registered owner at 10:59 a.m.
Battery and impersonation: 4800 block of Macdonald Avenue. A person committed battery and impersonated another at 12:28 p.m. An arrest was made.
Sex offender registration violations: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Someone failed both the 30-day and annual registration updates at 2:03 p.m.
Assault with deadly weapon: 3300 block of Klose Way. A weapon was wielded with malicious intent at 2:34 p.m.
Vehicle recovery: 2300 block of San Luis Street. Police recovered a stolen vehicle at 7:27 p.m.
Vandalism: 1000 block of 23rd Street. Property damage over $400 was reported at 7:45 p.m.
Multiple theft charges: In the 94804. A strong-arm robbery and theft from an elderly person occurred at 8:19 p.m.
Warrant arrest: In the 94804. A person with an outstanding misdemeanor warrant was apprehended at 8:23 p.m.
Contempt of court: West Richmond Avenue. A court order was said to have been disobeyed at 8:58 p.m.
Auto burglary: 3000 block of Groom Drive. A vehicle was broken into at 9:02 p.m.
Vandalism: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Property was defaced at 9:21 p.m.
Assault and vandalism: 500 block of 3rd Street. Officers investigated assault with a deadly weapon and vandalism at 9:30 p.m.
Weapon on school grounds: 5000 block of Valley View Road. A minor was busted on charges of illegally possessing a concealed weapon, carrying it loaded in public at a school at 9:36 p.m.
Commercial burglary: 400 block of 24th Street. A commercial property was entered without force at 11:49 p.m.
Saturday, October 11
Vehicle theft: 2100 block of Hoffman Boulevard. An automobile was taken without consent at 7:40 a.m.
Battery: 1000 block of 23rd Street. A person was assailed at 9:48 a.m.
Battery: 600 block of S 37th Street. A physical altercation was reported at 11:23 a.m.
Reckless driving: 2100 block of Cutting Boulevard. A driver operated recklessly on the highway at 2:14 p.m.
Multiple battery and elder abuse charges: 900 block of View Drive. Officers made an arrest after responding to battery, elder abuse, and battery with serious bodily injury at 5:23 p.m.
Vehicle theft: 3200 block of Klose Way. An automobile was taken without consent at 7:28 p.m.
Vandalism and contempt of court: 1700 block of Hellings Avenue. Property damage over $400 and a court order violation occurred at 10:08 p.m.
Hit-and-run and DUI arrest: Fred Jackson Way & Chesley Avenue. A driver fled after causing property damage and was found to be under the influence of drugs at 10:55 p.m.
Sunday, October 12
Multiple DUI charges: 700 block of 23rd Street. A driver was arrested after operating under the influence of alcohol at 9:42 a.m.
Vandalism: 1000 block of 23rd Street. Property damage over $400 was reported at 10:29 a.m.
Petty theft: 900 block of Carlson Boulevard. Theft was reported at 3:12 p.m.
Driving on suspended license: 94804. A driver operated despite the state’s prohibition at 3:24 p.m.
Vandalism: 800 block of S 19th Street. Property damage over $400 was reported at 7:27 p.m.
