Richmond police responded to a violent week of crimes between February 2 and 8, including firearm discharges, multiple armed robberies, serious assaults, and a wave of vehicle thefts across the city, according to department logs.

Monday, February 2

Vandalism: 900 block of 29th Street. Property was defaced at 12:25 a.m.

Disorderly conduct, peeping, and vandalism: 1300 block of South 59th Street. An intoxicated peeper reportedly damaged property at 2:21 a.m.

Assault with a deadly weapon, criminal threats, and weapons violation: 600 block of 13th Street. One person allegedly fell upon another with a deadly weapon, screaming threats to terrorize, while in possession of metal knuckles at 3:44 a.m.

The 41st Street farewell: 600 block of 41st Street. A vehicle disappeared at 7:21 a.m.

Auto burglary and vandalism: 5200 block of San Jose Avenue. A vehicle was broken into, and property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 7:53 a.m.

Assault with firearm and conspiracy: 100 block of South 23rd Street. Police arrested someone after an assault with a firearm and conspiracy to commit a felony were reported at 8:32 a.m.

Distribute intimate images: 2800 block of Foothill Avenue. Intimate images were reportedly intentionally distributed at 9:15 a.m.

Harassment: 3100 block of Southampton Court. Personal identification information was said to have been made public at 11:21 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 300 block of Carlson Boulevard. A commercial property was entered without force at 12:07 p.m.

Trespassing: 3100 block of Garrity Way. An individual was where they shouldn't be at 12:58 p.m.

Pierce pinch: 3200 block of Pierce Street. A vehicle disappeared without permission at 1:33 p.m.

Residential burglary: 1200 block of Virginia Avenue. A residence was forcibly entered at 2:30 p.m.

Warrant arrest: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Officers picked up a person with a felony warrant at 2:58 p.m.

Chanslor caper: 100 block of Chanslor Circle. Another car disappeared into the criminal underworld at 3:13 p.m.

Residential burglary: 2100 block of Greenridge Drive. A residence was forcibly entered at 3:50 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. Police arrested someone after discovering unlawful paraphernalia at 5:29 p.m.

DUI: Somewhere in the 94804 zip code. An over-the-limit driver was taken to the Gray Bar Hotel at 5:34 p.m.

Auto burglary and vandalism: 3200 block of Pierce Street. A vehicle was broken into, and property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 7:11 p.m.

Domestic violence: In the 94801 zip code. Police made an arrest after someone allegedly inflicted corporal injury on a spouse at 8:33 p.m.

Strong-arm robbery: 2500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police busted a robbery suspect after a strong-arm robbery was reported at 9:42 p.m.

Brandishing and criminal threats: 10600 block of San Pablo Avenue. Police nabbed someone for allegedly exhibiting a deadly weapon and threatening a crime with intent to terrorize at 11:01 p.m.

Vandalism: 5200 block of Imperial Avenue. Property damage less than $400 was reported at 11:39 p.m.

Drug paraphernalia and restricted license: In the 94804 zip code. Someone allegedly possessed unlawful paraphernalia and drove with a license restricted for DUI at 11:50 p.m.

Tuesday, February 3

DUI: 500 block of 37th Street. A driver was reportedly under the influence at 2:03 a.m.

Nevin nabbing: 3700 block of Nevin Avenue. A vehicle vanished at 3:05 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 800 block of 6th Street. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 5:08 a.m.

DUI: In the 94806 zip code. Someone was driving under the influence of drugs at 8 a.m.

The 25th Street swipe: 200 block of 25th Street. A vehicle was lifted at 8:46 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 100 block of South 23rd Street. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 10:04 a.m.

Brandishing a firearm: In the 94805 zip code. Someone allegedly exhibited a firearm at 11:52 a.m.

Vandalism: 1300 block of Quarry Court. Property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 4:32 p.m.

DUI: In the 94804 zip code. Someone was reportedly driving under the influence at 4:41 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 12800 block of San Pablo Avenue. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 5:45 p.m.

Shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. A shoplifter was at work at 6:35 p.m.

DUI and hit-and-run: 300 block of 37th Street. Someone was arrested for driving under the influence and fleeing a hit-and-run with property damage at 8:25 p.m.

Child cruelty: 500 block of South 30th Street. Police arrested someone for allegedly committing willful cruelty to a child at 9:23 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 500 block of South 12th Street. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 11:01 p.m.

Wednesday, February 4

Strong-arm robbery: 400 block of 1st Street. Police arrested someone after a strong-arm robbery was reported at 12:49 a.m.

Assault with deadly weapon and criminal threats: 3100 block of Pullman Avenue. An assault with a deadly weapon and threats with intent to terrorize were reported at 7:30 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 4000 block of Lakeside Drive. A commercial property was forcibly entered at 8:21 a.m.

Vandalism: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. Police arrested a suspect for property damage valued at $400 or more, which was reported at 9:54 a.m.

Drug possession and paraphernalia: In the 94806 zip code. Someone allegedly possessed controlled substances and unlawful paraphernalia at 11:45 a.m.

Battery with serious injury: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A battery with serious bodily injury was reported at 5:00 p.m.

Grand theft: 400 block of Tewksbury Avenue. A theft was reported at 6 p.m.

Drug possession and false ID: In the 94804 zip code. Police arrested someone for allegedly possessing controlled substances and giving false identification to officers at 8:15 p.m.

Drug possession, paraphernalia, and resisting arrest: San Pablo Avenue and Barrett Avenue. Police arrested someone after reportedly discovering controlled substances and unlawful paraphernalia. The person also allegedly obstructed a peace officer at 10:04 p.m.

DUI: In the 94804. Police arrested someone for driving under the influence of drugs at 11:54 p.m.

Thursday, February 5

DUI, reckless driving, false ID, and resisting arrest: Clinton Avenue. Someone was arrested for driving under the influence, reckless driving, giving false identification, and obstructing a peace officer at 3:02 a.m.

Vandalism: 200 block of South 2nd Street. Damage to power connecting lines was reported at 3:08 a.m.

The 31st Street steal: 300 block of 31st Street. A ride disappeared at 6:11 a.m.

Battery: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A battery on a person was reported at 6:40 a.m.

Vandalism: In the 94801 zip code. Property damage less than $400 was reported at 8:42 a.m.

Drug possession: 1400 block of Hilltop Mall Road. Someone allegedly possessed controlled substances at 9:20 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 12500 block of San Pablo Avenue. A commercial property was entered without force at 9:43 a.m.

Contempt of court: 100 block of 16th Street. Police arrested someone suspected of disobeying a court order at 10:30 a.m.

Battery and elder abuse: 2500 block of Hinkley Avenue. A battery on a dependent adult was reported at 10:37 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 11:29 a.m.

Assault with force: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. An assault with force causing possible great bodily injury was reported at 11:43 a.m.

Vandalism: 5200 block of Imperial Avenue. Property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 11:46 a.m.

Fraud: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Someone allegedly made or benefited from a false financial statement at 1:52 p.m.

Grand theft shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Some light-fingered suspect clawed a hole through the afternoon peace at 3:56 p.m.

Battery with serious injury: In the 94804 zip code. A battery with serious bodily injury was reported at 4:08 p.m.

Restricted license: In the 94801 zip code. Someone was driving with a license restricted for DUI at 4:49 p.m.

Criminal threats: 4900 block of San Pablo Dam Road. Threats were made to commit a crime with the intent to terrorize at 5:39 p.m.

Grand theft firearm: 700 block of Humboldt Street. Theft of a firearm was reported at 5:50 p.m.

Vehicle recovery and stolen vehicle possession: 2000 block of Nevin Avenue. A stolen vehicle was recovered, and a suspect was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle at 6:29 p.m.

Distribute intimate images: 3100 block of Moyers Road. More intimate images were shared at 7:36 p.m.

Grand theft from vehicle: 3200 block of Pierce Street. Theft from a motor vehicle was reported at 8:08 p.m.

Reckless driving and paraphernalia: In the 94801. Someone allegedly drove recklessly and possessed unlawful paraphernalia at 8:45 p.m.

The 35th Street exodus: 900 block of 35th Street. A vehicle evaporated at 9 p.m.

Friday, February 6

Wheels gone wild: In the 94801. A vehicle went missing at 7:58 a.m.

Grand theft: 5000 block of Fleming Avenue. A theft was reported at 10:21 a.m.

Morningside motorless: 3400 block of Morningside Drive. A vehicle was snatched at 11:18 a.m.

Assault with deadly weapon and domestic battery: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. An assault with a deadly weapon and battery on a spouse or dating partner were reported at 11:23 a.m.

DUI: In the 94804 zip code. Someone was suspected of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs at 4:02 p.m.

Trespassing: 5200 block of Gordon Avenue. Someone refused to leave a property at 6:01 p.m.

Domestic battery: 500 block of 27th Street. Battery on a spouse or dating partner was reported at 6:58 p.m.

Firearm discharge: 2600 block of Humphrey Avenue. A firearm was discharged in a grossly negligent manner at 9:28 p.m.

Petty theft: 100 block of South 16th Street. Theft of motor vehicle parts or accessories was reported at 10:00 p.m.

DUI and restricted license: In the 94804. Police arrested someone for driving under the influence with a license restricted for DUI at 11:12 p.m.

Saturday, February 7

Marijuana possession: In the 94801 zip code. Someone allegedly possessed marijuana over one ounce at 1:59 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 4200 block of Klose Way. A commercial property was forcibly entered at 3:15 a.m.

Domestic battery, child cruelty, and false imprisonment: 4500 block of Florida Avenue. Battery on a spouse, willful cruelty to a child, and false imprisonment with violence were all reported at 7 a.m.

Domestic battery and assault with force: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Battery on a spouse and assault with force causing possible great bodily injury were reported at 9 a.m.

Firearm possession by felon, resisting arrest, and multiple violations: 2200 block of Costa Avenue. A felon was reportedly caught in a trifecta of gun-play, possessing, lugging, and brandishing, only to compound the situation by resisting arrest and hoarding a stash of contraband ammunition and drug paraphernalia at 1:16 p.m.

Brandishing firearm replica: 400 block of 28th Street. Someone allegedly brandished a firearm replica at 2:58 p.m.

Forgery and identity theft: 3200 block of Auto Plaza. Forgery of checks and the use of another person's ID to obtain credit were reported at 3:30 p.m.

Vandalism: 300 block of South 9th Street. Property damage valued at $400 or more was reported at 3:47 p.m.

Shooting at dwelling: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. Shots were fired at an inhabited dwelling or vehicle at 6:44 p.m. 

Sunday, February 8

Reckless driving: 1400 block of Harbour Way South. Someone allegedly drove recklessly on the highway at 1:04 a.m.

Firearm discharges: 2400 block of Downer Avenue, 500 block of South 17th Street, and 3800 block of Garvin Avenue. ShotSpotter technology detected multiple firearm discharges overnight between 1:20 a.m. and 2:28 a.m. Evidence work was conducted at the Downer Avenue scene.

The 44th Street heist: 400 block of 44th Street. A vehicle was taken without consent at 4:00 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 12800 block of San Pablo Avenue. A commercial property was forcibly entered at 4:15 a.m.

Domestic battery: 600 block of South 31st Street. Battery on a spouse or dating partner was reported at 7:30 a.m.

Vandalism and contempt of court: 3100 block of Pullman Avenue. Property damage valued at less than $400 was reported, and a court order was allegedly disobeyed at 10:15 a.m.

Auto burglary: 2600 block of Hilltop Drive. A vehicle was broken into at 4:19 p.m.

Battery: 1500 block of Cutting Boulevard. A battery on a person was reported at 6:44 p.m.

Battery: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. A battery on a person was reported at 9:18 p.m.
