Monday, June 2, 2025

Arson: Stenmark Drive & Western Drive. After midnight, someone lit the brush by the highway on fire at 12:50 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 800 block of Chesley Avenue. Under the cover of darkness, someone ransacked someone's ride at 2 a.m.

Aggravated assault with a firearm: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. Someone wielded a weapon in a violent confrontation at 5:35 a.m.

Felony vandalism: 1300 block of Bissell Avenue. Someone caused more than $400 worth of damage at 11:38 a.m

Grand theft: 2100 block of Macdonald Avenue. A thief made off with someone's valuables at noon.

Vehicle burglaries: 3200 block of Klose Way. Car criminals struck twice in succession, hitting at 12:19 p.m. and returning for an encore at 12:53 p.m.

Drug violations: West Richmond Avenue. Police busted someone red-handed with illegal paraphernalia and narcotics at 1:19 p.m.

Vehicle theft: Richmond area. A car vanished into thin air as thieves made off with someone's wheels at 2 p.m.

Vandalism: 2700 block of Macdonald Avenue. Another destructive spree left a $400+ trail of damage at 2:27 p.m.

Vehicle burglary: 4100 block of Klose Way. Automotive burglars rifled through someone's car at 3 p.m.

Fraud: 2400 block of Macdonald Avenue. A con artist pulled a fast one on an innkeeper, making off with under $950 at 3:03 p.m.

Petty theft: 3900 block of Florida Avenue. An unsuspecting victim lost possessions at 3:23 p.m.

Grand theft: 400 block of Civic Center Plaza. Thieves targeted the civic heart of the city at 3:34 p.m.

Vehicle burglary: 4100 block of Klose Way. Klose Way's crime wave continued with another automotive break-in at 4 p.m.

Court violation: 1000 block of Lassen Street. A defiant lawbreaker thumbed their nose at court orders, earning themselves handcuffs at 5:35 p.m.

Alcohol violation: 700 block of 23rd Street. It was said that a drinker consumed booze in public at 6:08 p.m.

Vandalism: 600 block of S 24th Street. The day's destruction derby concluded with property damage reported at 8:20 p.m.

Aggravated assault: 5600 block of Doremus Avenue. A false imprisonment and assault incident resulted in an arrest at 1:15 a.m.

Residential burglary: 1200 block of Bissell Avenue. A smooth operator slipped into someone's home without forcing entry at 8:12 a.m.

Petty theft: 900 block of 36th Street. Morning mischief struck as a thief made off with someone's belongings at 8:50 a.m.

Vehicle burglary: 200 block of W Chanslor Avenue. Car criminals continued their automotive assault at 9:22 a.m.

Battery: 3500 block of McBryde Avenue. Morning violence reportedly erupted, resulting in an arrest for simple assault at 7:24 a.m.

Grand theft: 1400 block of Harbour Way S. Car part pirates stripped someone's vehicle for valuable components at 7:50 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 4000 block of Florida Avenue. Bandits forced their way into a commercial property at 8:23 a.m.

Multiple violations: 700 block of Barrett Avenue. A criminal cocktail of battery, trespassing, and drug possession led to arrest at 11:52 a.m.

Aggravated Assault: 1200 block of Virginia Avenue. Officers made an arrest after someone reportedly made criminal threats and committed an aggravated assault with possible great bodily injury at 12:11 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1000 block of Canyon Oaks Drive. Another stolen car found its way home at 9:47 a.m.

Fraud: 2400 block of Lancaster Drive. A con artist's false promises netted over $400 at 11:22 a.m.

Vehicle burglary arrest: 3200 block of Leona Avenue. Car prowlers got caught in the act and arrested at 11:30 a.m.

Battery: 4800 block of Central Avenue. Afternoon aggression led to an assault at 1:25 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 4000 block of Ohio Avenue. Another car vanished into the criminal underworld at 4:20 p.m.

Vandalism: 600 block of 9th Street. Major property destruction caused over $400 in damage at 4:33 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 2600 block of Grant Avenue. Car thieves claimed another victim at 4:39 p.m.

Vandalism: 2300 block of Macdonald Avenue. Major property destruction left over $400 in damage at 10 a.m.

Grand theft: 5200 block of Central Avenue. Thieves made off with valuable property at 2:14 p.m.

Vandalism: Richmond area. Random property damage struck at 3:16 p.m.

Firearm/criminal threats: 2600 block of Moyers Road. Gun-waving intimidation led to arrest at 6:46 p.m.

Grand theft: 1300 block of Marina Way S. Car part pirates stripped another vehicle at 4 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 1300 block of Gaynor Avenue. Morning car thieves claimed another victim at 7:36 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 700 block of 6th Street. The automotive crime wave continued at 8:19 a.m.

Grand theft: Richmond area. Bold thieves struck again at 8:31 a.m.

Shoplifting: 1200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A five-finger discount artist was at work at 9:15 a.m.

Trespassing: The 94804. A trespasser reportedly entered someone's property without permission at 11 a.m.

Multiple violations: 700 block of South 29th Street. Someone with a warrant was busted with drug paraphernalia and a switchblade at 11:06 a.m.

Firearm/Criminal threats: 300 block of 32nd Street. Afternoon gun intimidation at 2:25 p.m.

Assault with deadly weapon: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. A violent attack involving a dangerous weapon was reported at 3:01 p.m.

Carjacking: Hilltop Dr & I-80. Armed carjackers stole someone's car at 12:45 a.m.

DUI: The 94801. An impaired driver was busted weaving through the streets under the influence at 8:30 a.m.

Identity theft: 200 block of Tunnel Avenue. A credit card criminal used someone else's identity for fraudulent financial gain at 11:11 a.m.

Court violation: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. Another defiant lawbreaker thumbed their nose at court orders at 4:31 p.m.

Multiple violations: 1200 block of 23rd Street. A criminal triple-threat got nailed with warrant arrest, drug possession, and driving with a suspended DUI license at 4:46 p.m.

DUI/License violation: The 94801. A repeat DUI offender compounded their troubles by driving on a suspended license at 5:05 p.m.

Stolen property/obstruction: 900 block of Triangle Court. Car thieves caught red-handed with a stolen vehicle tried to resist arrest at 5:30 p.m.
