Richmond police responded to a range of incidents between September 8 and September 14, including armed robberies, violent assaults, drug trafficking arrests, and a series of vehicle thefts and recoveries. The week also saw multiple domestic violence incidents, business burglaries, and several cases of contempt of court across various neighborhoods.

Monday, September 8, 2025

Drug violations: In the 94801 zip code. Someone's recreational supplies were discovered at 12:11 a.m.

Grand theft and vandalism: 600 block of Amador Street. Property damage and theft occurred at the same location at 1:31 a.m.

Drug violations: In the 94804 zip code. More contraband surfaced at 1:59 a.m.

Drug violations: In the 94804 zip code. The night shift kept busy with another drug case at 3:07 a.m.

Drug violations: In the 94805 zip code. Dawn brought yet another paraphernalia discovery at 4:05 a.m.

Contempt of court: 2700 block of Clinton Avenue. A suspect was arrested on charges of willful disobedience of a court order at 6:19 a.m. 

Vehicle theft: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. Someone decided to take an unauthorized joyride at 7:36 a.m.

Contempt of court: 200 block of Macdonald Avenue. Another arrest for violating a court order at 7:47 a.m. 

Vehicle theft: 1300 block of Kelsey Street. Another case of mistaken vehicle ownership occurred at 8:58 a.m.

Contempt of court: 4500 block of Jenkins Way. Another court order, another order violated at 10:24 a.m.

Petty theft: 3200 block of Auto Plaza. A five-finger discount was attempted at 10:24 a.m.

Driving without a license: 1500 block of Macdonald Avenue. Apparently, the DMV visit kept getting postponed at 11:39 a.m.

Vehicle recovery and stolen property: In the 94804 zip code. Officers recovered a stolen vehicle and busted the driver at 11:51 a.m. 

Commercial burglary: 4000 block of Lakeside Drive. Someone attempted to shop after hours at 12:11 p.m.

Petty theft: Macdonald Avenue and Marina Way South intersection. Light-fingered activity was reported at 12:39 p.m.

Drug violations: 5000 block of Seaport Avenue. More paraphernalia made its appearance at 2:11 p.m.

Criminal threats: 500 block of Bissell Avenue. Words turned menacing at 2:43 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 1900 block of Meeker Avenue. Business security was tested at 3:34 p.m.

Contempt of court: 3000 block of May Road. Court compliance continues to be optional for some at 3:40 p.m. The alleged violator was arrested.

Identity theft: 100 block of Bayside Court. Someone borrowed another person's identity without permission at 4:17 p.m.

Obstruction: In the 94801 zip code. An individual was arrested after making a peace officer's job difficult at 4:53 p.m. 

Robbery with weapon: 700 block of 23rd Street. An armed robbery was reported at 5:15 p.m.

Robbery with weapon: 400 block of 22nd Street. Another armed robbery took place just blocks away at 5:15 p.m.

Battery: 1400 block of Macdonald Avenue. Hands got too heavy at 6:43 p.m.

Criminal threats: 400 block of 22nd Street. More menacing words were exchanged at 7:43 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 2300 block of Rheem Avenue. Another unauthorized test drive began at 8:30 p.m.

Domestic violence: 1900 block of Gaynor Avenue. A person with prior domestic violence convictions was accused of injuring a partner at 1:25 a.m.

Multiple vehicle theft charges: In the 94804 zip code. A repeat offender's crime spree included vehicle theft, possession of stolen property, and drug violations ended in cuffs at 1:53 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 900 block of 13th Street. Breaking and entering for profit occurred at 4:41 a.m.

Driving with suspended license: In the 94801 zip code. The DMV notices apparently went unheeded at 8:03 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1100 block of Cutting Boulevard. Another stolen vehicle was recovered at 9:08 a.m.

Driving with suspended license: In the 94804 zip code. License suspension apparently means nothing to some at 2:32 p.m.

Sexual battery: In the 94805 zip code. A sexual assault was reported at 5:05 p.m.

Multiple domestic violence charges: Valley View Road. A domestic dispute included multiple felonies, including assault with a deadly weapon, at 5:14 p.m.

Multiple drug charges: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. A person was arrested on suspicion of bringing drugs into jail and possessing cocaine base and other controlled substances for sale at 5:52 p.m.

Obstruction: Crest Avenue. Someone resisted a peace officer at 6:50 p.m.

Carjacking: 400 block of S 29th Street. A strong-arm vehicle theft occurred at 6:58 p.m.

Multiple domestic violence charges: Dove Lane. Officers made an arrest on aggravated assault charges related to a domestic incident at 7:38 p.m.

Multiple domestic violence charges: 800 block of Lassen Street. Officers seemingly made another arrest on aggravated assault charges related to a domestic incident at 7:48 p.m.

Busted burglar: 100 block of 5th Street. Police made an arrest for residential breaking and entering, with a probation violation, which occurred at 8:12 p.m.

Multiple loitering charges: 1000 block of Chanslor Avenue. False identification and disorderly conduct led to a trip to the pokey at 11:47 p.m.

Petty theft: 1300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A five-finger discount attempt was made at 8:04 a.m.

Vehicle embezzlement: 1000 block of 23rd Street. A rented ride overstayed its welcome at 9:01 a.m.

Sex offender violation: W Richmond Avenue. Someone on the list reportedly failed to update their address information at 9:49 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 4200 block of Macdonald Avenue. A crook got too friendly with someone else's car at 10:32 a.m.

Vandalism: Dove Lane. Property destruction was reported at 11 a.m.

Check fraud: Harbour Way. Fictional finances were reported at 11:33 a.m.

Liquor violation: 5000 block of Valley View Road. Alcohol appeared where it shouldn't be (school) at 1:18 p.m.

Multiple assault charges: In the 94804 zip code. A violent spree, including stalking, threats, robbery, and domestic violence, was reported at 1:47 p.m.

Petty theft: 1400 block of Wright Avenue. Auto parts went walking at 3 p.m.

Drug dealing: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. A cocaine base sales operation was busted at 3:49 p.m., and another was discovered just minutes later.

Vehicle embezzlement: Hellings Avenue. Another rental car forgot to come home at 4:20 p.m.

Indecent exposure: 500 block of Nevin Avenue. A public display of poor judgment occurred at 5:22 p.m.

Drug dealing: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. The third cocaine charge of the day happened at 5:42 p.m.

Auto burglary: 10800 block of San Pablo Avenue. A car break-in occurred at 6:04 p.m.

Firearm violation: In the 94801 zip code. An illegal weapon display was reported at 7:03 p.m.

Residential burglary: 300 block of W Macdonald Avenue. A home was broken into at 7:57 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 100 block of Tewksbury Avenue. A business break-in occurred at 8 p.m.

Aggravated battery: 400 block of Harbour Way S. Serious bodily injury was inflicted at 9:56 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 2100 block of Nevin Avenue. Late-night shopping without paying occurred at 11:56 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 12900 block of San Pablo Avenue. Another business was targeted at 3:56 a.m.

Assault with weapon: In the 94801 zip code. A dangerous weapon was used in an attack at 4:24 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 1100 block of 23rd Street in San Pablo. A cross-jurisdictional business break-in occurred at 5:07 a.m.

Petty theft: 200 block of 23rd Street. A building break-in and theft occurred at 8 a.m.

Petty theft: 4900 block of Macdonald Avenue. A five-finger discount was attempted at 8:04 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 100 block of Macdonald Avenue. An unauthorized joyride began at 8:28 a.m.

Aggravated battery: 2300 block of Downer Avenue. Serious bodily harm was reported at 8:49 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 1000 block of Lupine Court. Another car took an unauthorized vacation at 10 a.m.

Vandalism: 3400 block of Clinton Avenue. Property damage over $400 occurred at 10:26 a.m.

Robbery: 33rd Street. A strong-arm theft occurred at 4:11 p.m.

Battery: 200 block of S 42nd Street. A physical altercation took place at 4:15 p.m.

Contempt of court: 12600 block of San Pablo Avenue. More court defiance was reported at 4:18 p.m.

Check fraud: 900 block of Cutting Boulevard. Fake financial instruments were used at 4:30 p.m.

Residential burglary: 200 block of S 20th Street. A home burglary occurred at 4:45 p.m.

Check fraud: 12600 block of San Pablo Avenue. More fictional finances were reported at 5:04 p.m.

Residential burglary: 600 block of 36th Street. A home break-in occurred at 5:34 p.m.

Grand theft: 1000 block of Lupine Court. Major theft was reported at 5:40 p.m.

Multiple domestic violence charges: 500 block of Chanslor Avenue. A domestic incident with assault and false imprisonment was reported at 6:40 p.m.

Trespassing: 500 block of Nevin Avenue. Someone overstayed their welcome at 11 a.m.

Auto burglary: 2100 block of Hilltop Mall Road. A car break-in occurred at 11:06 a.m.

Shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. A five-finger discount was attempted at 11:50 a.m.

Warrant arrest: In the 94804 zip code. Police found someone with an outstanding warrant at 12:05 p.m. 

Firearm violation: In the 94805 zip code. A concealed weapon was found in a vehicle at 5:15 p.m. The suspect was arrested.

Commercial burglary: 3200 block of Pierce Street. A business break-in occurred at 6:40 p.m.

Multiple DUI charges: In the 94801 zip code. Liquid courage led to reckless driving and resisting arrest at 8:50 p.m.

Multiple warrants: In the 94804 zip code. Failure to appear on felony and misdemeanor charges resulted in an arrest at 10:34 p.m. 

Vandalism: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Property damage under $400 occurred at 11:37 p.m.

Grand theft: 5500 block of Esmond Avenue. A major theft occurred at 2:18 p.m.
