The heart of downtown Richmond was filled with music, color, and community pride on Saturday as the Spirit and Soul Festival returned for its 2025 celebration.
The free event, organized by the Richmond Main Street Initiative, took place from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. along Macdonald Avenue, between Harbour Way and 16th Street. Families, neighbors, and visitors enjoyed a full day of entertainment that included live performances, a classic car show, a youth sports zone, and a health and resources hub.
The festival also featured food and beverage vendors, artisan and craft booths, and activities for all ages. Classic cars lined the streets, offering a nostalgic highlight for attendees and car enthusiasts alike.
The Spirit and Soul Festival is dedicated to uniting the Richmond community through celebration of its diversity and vibrant culture, with organizers promoting unity and a shared sense of purpose.
