Over these seven days, officers tackled cases involving stolen cars, gun charges, assaults, fraud, and repeated break-ins, with some incidents escalating into arrests and others still under investigation. Here’s a day-by-day look at the week’s most notable activity.

Residential burglary/battery: West Richmond Avenue. A residential burglary with force and battery on a person was reported at the same location at 12:27 a.m.

Aggravated assault/criminal threats: 200 block of S 16th Street. A suspect was arrested for battery with serious bodily injury and terrorist threats at 12:34 a.m.

Vehicle theft: Cars were taken without the owner's consent from the 400 block of 41st Street, the 600 block of Nevin Avenue, the 400 block of S 26th Street, the 600 block of 31st Street, the 600 block of 32nd Street, and the 5300 block of Zara Avenue.

Auto burglary: 100 block of 13th Street. A vehicle break-in was reported at 7:30 a.m.

Vandalism: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. Vandals defaced property at 10:11 a.m.

Grand theft: 800 block of Jetty Drive. Theft from a building was reported at 10:32 a.m.

Residential burglary: 2400 block of Aberdeen Way. A forced entry residential burglary was reported at 10:33 a.m.

Trespassing: 800 block of 23rd Street. A trespasser was reportedly arrested for unlawful occupation of property at 1:04 p.m.

Aggravated assault/drug possession: 2400 block of Nevin Avenue. Police busted someone on drug charges after assault with force and possession of a controlled substance for sale were reported at the same location between 1:07 p.m. and 1:45 p.m.

Vehicle embezzlement: 2000 block of Lincoln Avenue. Someone kept a leased or rented vehicle at 3:28 p.m.

Vandalism: West Macdonald Avenue. Felony vandalism over $400 was reported at 4:14 p.m.

Multiple allegations: Circle Court. It was reported that someone committed vandalism, assault with a deadly weapon, made terrorist threats, inflicted corporal injury to a cohabitant, and was willfully cruel to a child at 5 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 3000 block of Giant Road, San Pablo. Police located a stolen vehicle at 6:39 p.m.

Petty theft: 2300 block of Macdonald  Avenue. A thief stole something at 7:30 p.m.

Warrant arrest: An undisclosed location in the 94801 zip code. A suspect was arrested on a felony warrant at 7:51 p.m.

Auto burglary: In the 94806 zip code. A vehicle break-in was reported at 8 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: In the 94804 zip code. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 9:45 p.m.

Battery/disorderly conduct: 3800 block of Lakeside Drive. Public intoxication and assault led to an arrest on drug charges at 9:58 p.m.

Drive while under the influence of alcohol: In the 94804 zip code. A tipsy driver was busted for driving under the influence of alcohol at 12:05 a.m.

Grand theft: 800 block of McLaughlin Street. Thieves struck in the early morning darkness, making off with unspecified property at 2 a.m.

Drug possession: In the 94801 zip code. Police reported finding someone with a stash of a controlled substance at 3:29 a.m.

Vandalism: In the 94804 zip code. Felony vandalism causing over $400 in damage was logged at 7:16 a.m.

Assault with deadly weapon: In the 94801 zip code. A suspect was arrested after allegedly wielding and displaying a deadly weapon during an assault at 8:18 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: In the 94801 zip code. Officers recovered a stolen vehicle at 9:48 a.m.

Vandalism/parole violation/trespassing: 4200 block of Macdonald  Avenue. A suspect was arrested after a triple charge of property damage, trespassing, and violating parole at 10:24 a.m.

Credit card fraud: 11900 block of San Pablo Avenue. A fraudster reportedly used a forged or invalid access card to steal $400 at 10:57 a.m.

Paraphernalia: In the 94801 zip code. Police documented possession of unlawful paraphernalia at 11:05 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: 1300 block of 24th Street. A stolen vehicle was located and recovered at noon.

Contempt/trespassing: 100 block of Nevin Avenue. Officers responded to a contempt of court case paired with trespassing on posted land at 12:59 p.m.

Grand theft: 5600 block of Solano Avenue. Thieves removed vehicle parts or accessories at 4:03 p.m.

Aggravated assault: 500 block of Bissell Avenue. A suspect was arrested after allegedly assaulting someone with force at 5:57 p.m.

Multiple firearms charges: In the 94804 zip code. Police arrested a suspect for a list of gun-related violations at 8:18 p.m., including carrying a loaded and unregistered handgun, being a felon in possession of a firearm, and concealing it in a vehicle.

Auto Burglary: 300 block of Florida Avenue. A vehicle break-in was reported at the stroke of midnight.

Vandalism: 900 block of 9th Street. Property damage under $400 was logged at midnight.

Vehicle recovery: 700 block of Erlandson Street. A stolen vehicle was recovered at 12:30 a.m.

Sex crimes: 4500 block of Macdonald  Avenue. A report of a sex crime was made at 1:53 a.m.

Vehicle recovery: In the 94804 zip code. Another stolen vehicle was located at 6:26 a.m.

Vehicle tampering/grand theft: 3100 block of Garrity Way. Police documented vehicle tampering and a grand theft at 7:21 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. An automobile experienced a temporary change of custody at 7:32 a.m.

Residential burglary/vandalism: 200 block of 26th Street. A suspect was arrested after allegedly breaking into a home and committing felony vandalism at 8:36 a.m.

Contempt of court: 900 block of 9th Street. Someone reportedly violated a protective order at 9 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 4500 block of Barrett Avenue. Another vehicle was redistributed according to the thief's personal wealth redistribution program at 3 p.m.

Harassment: 6200 block of Baywood Drive. Repeat unwanted calls and contacts were reported at 3 p.m.

Indecent exposure/resisting arrest: 1300 block of Macdonald Avenue. A suspect was arrested after allegedly exposing themselves and resisting police at 3:15 p.m.

Mail theft: 3200 block of Annapolis Avenue. Mail was reported stolen at 4:17 p.m.

The things you can do with just a pen and some paper: 100 block of Marina Lakes Drive. Forgery and handwriting fraud were reported at 4:18 p.m.

Grand theft: 400 block of 35th Street. Unspecified property was reported stolen at 6:11 p.m.

Grand theft: 3500 block of Esmond Avenue. Another theft of unspecified property was logged at 7:15 p.m.

Police evasion: In the 94804 zip code. A reckless attempt to evade police was reported at 9:39 p.m.

Armed robbery: Regatta Boulevard. A robbery involving a firearm was reported at 10:37 p.m.

Multiple violations: In the 94804 zip code. A suspect was arrested for failing to obey police, possessing drug paraphernalia, and obstructing an officer at 11:04 p.m.

Petty theft: 400 block of Alamo Avenue. Thieves targeted a parked vehicle at midnight.

Auto burglary: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A car owner reported someone had broken into their car at 6:18 a.m.

Criminal threats: 1500 block of Santa Clara Street. Misdemeanor threats were reported at 6:19 a.m.

Auto burglary: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. Another vehicle at the same location was broken into at 8:05 a.m.

Petty theft: 700 block of Maine Avenue. Items were stolen from a vehicle at 8:26 a.m.

Grand theft: 900 block of Williams Drive. High-value property theft was reported at 8:49 a.m.

Petty theft: In the 94804 zip code. Another vehicle was looted at 10:38 a.m.

Battery on an officer or emergency personnel: 900 block of Nevin Avenue. A peace officer or emergency personnel was reportedly assaulted while on duty at 12:17 p.m.

Grand theft: 2800 block of Phillips Court. Unspecified property was stolen at 12:51 p.m.

Grand theft: 2700 block of Jo Ann Drive. Another theft was reported at 1:26 p.m.

Shoplifting: 2100 block of Meeker Avenue. Shoplifters targeted store shelves at 1:40 p.m. and 2:56 p.m.

Vehicle recovery: 4800 block of Central Avenue. A stolen car was located at 4:58 p.m.

Domestic violence: 300 block of South 19th Street. A suspect was arrested for allegedly assaulting a spouse or cohabitant at 7:25 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 2700 block of Moyers Road. A mobility-challenged individual solved their problem through creative property interpretation at 7:46 p.m.

Sexual offenses: In the 94805 zip code. Harmful material was reportedly sent to a minor at 7:54 p.m.

Auto burglary: 2300 block of Maricopa Avenue. Another break-in was reported at 9 p.m.

Battery/firearms: 600 block of 2nd Street. A domestic battery incident also involved brandishing a firearm replica at 10:33 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 2800 block of Garvin Avenue. An automotive acquisition specialist was at work at 10:30 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 400 block of 32nd Street. The borrowing brigade continued nearby at 11 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 1300 block of Carlson Boulevard. A car was delivered to the underground economy at 3 a.m.

An early morning fire at Richmond’s Mira Flores building has destroyed the roof and caused heavy interior damage to the more than 100-year-old structure, which is the former site of the historic Sakai and Oishi nurseries, founded by Japanese immigrants in the early 1900s.

Multiple offenses: 700 block of South 40th Street. A suspect was arrested on a string of charges: child cruelty, assault with force, false imprisonment, and spousal injury at 5:41 a.m.

Grand theft: 3100 block of Ohio Avenue. Thieves targeted a parked vehicle at 5:49 a.m.

Vehicle tampering: 500 block of South 24th Street. Vehicle tampering was reported at 6:31 a.m.

Grand theft: 800 block of McLaughlin Street. Another theft of unspecified property was logged at 8 a.m.

Grand theft: 5700 block of Central Avenue. Thieves struck again at 9:17 a.m.

Armed robbery: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. A gunpoint holdup was reported at 11:25 a.m.

Shooting: 1900 block of Macdonald Avenue. A ShotSpotter alert of four gunshots led to a shooting victim near Rim & Tire Sales Co. at 11:50 a.m.

Criminal threats: 4500 block of Macdonald Avenue. It was reported that someone was making criminal threats at 3:29 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 3400 block of Richmond Parkway. A thief picked up an unpaid rental vehicle at 5 p.m.

Contempt of court: 1700 block of Regatta Boulevard. A court order was seemingly ignored at 6 p.m.

Trespassing: 800 block of Brookside Drive. A suspect refused to leave a public building, resulting in arrest at 6:21 p.m.

Battery: In the 94804 zip code. A battery incident involving cruelty to a child was reported at 9:03 p.m.

DUI: The 94804 zip code. Police busted a driver who was suspected of drunk driving at 1:08 a.m.

Auto burglary: 12600 block of San Pablo Avenue. A smash-and-grab was reported at 11:37 a.m.

Commercial burglary: 3200 block of Blume Drive. A business was broken into by forced entry at 12:57 p.m.

Credit card fraud: 2200 block of Nevin Avenue. Thieves used stolen card information to commit fraud at 3:15 p.m.

Sideshow: In the 94801 zip code. Police responded to a very large sideshow crowd just after midnight.

Petty theft: 300 block of S 23rd Street. Thieves rifled through a parked vehicle, making off with stolen goods at 12:30 a.m.

Commercial burglary/vandalism: 12400 block of San Pablo Avenue. Someone smashed a window to gain entry to Mira Vista Liquors at 6:09 a.m.

Residential burglary: 700 block of 15th Street. A no-force entry into a home was reported at 6:30 a.m.

Vehicle theft: 200 block of Willard Avenue. A surprise car-sharing program launched at 7:05 a.m.

Auto burglary/vandalism: 2300 block of Andrade Avenue. A vehicle was broken into and vandalized with less than $400 in damage at 11:23 a.m.

Battery: 300 block of Nevada Avenue. A physical altercation was reported at 12:37 p.m.

Battery: 600 block of S 37th Street. A suspect was arrested for battery on a spouse, ex-partner, or dating partner at 2:18 p.m.

Firearm possession: 700 block of Thomas Drive. A loaded handgun not registered to the carrier was seized at 4 p.m.

Vehicle theft: Scenic Avenue. Another unauthorized test drive commenced at 4:54 p.m.

Commercial burglary: 200 block of 26th Street. A triple-hit incident included a forced-entry burglary, felony vandalism, and possession of stolen property at 5:01 p.m.

Exhibition of firearm: 2800 block of Sheldon Drive. A suspect allegedly brandished a firearm with the intent to cause serious injury and conspired to commit a felony at 6:50 p.m.

Vehicle theft: 1500 block of Roosevelt Avenue. Someone's wheels got yoinked at 7:04 p.m.
