African American Shipyard History Quilt Project @ Visitors Education Center
Shipyard Artists Stacey M. Carter and William Rhodes spent the past year uncovering the shipyard’s history with Bayview seniors. The exhibit will showcase this rich history through quilts created by William Rhodes, historic documents documented by Stacey Carter, and oral histories gathered by the two artists.
