Frog Face @Sailing Goat

March 14, 2026, 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. Unusual traditionals and bluegrass standards, jam favorites, fiddle tunes, and originals
Frog Face is a five-piece bluegrass band based in San Rafael, California. Their music draws from unusual traditionals and bluegrass standards, jam favorites, fiddle tunes, and originals. They rotate between three lead singers and a mix of two- and three-part harmony stacks to keep the dynamics moving. They favor upbeat tempos, with a handful of slower ballads, and high-octane instrumentals. They strive for instrumental texture, tasteful fills, and melodic leads. The lineup includes Joe on lead guitar and vocals, Nate on mandolin and vocals, Greg on bass, Aaron on dobro, and Kat on rhythm guitar and vocals. Together they channel the spirit of a Saturday night jam—joyful, spontaneous, and rooted in tradition—while bringing a modern, melodic twist to every performance. Frog Face’s aim is simple: to serve up a fun, flavorful set that keeps audiences smiling and the energy flowing.
