Festival Opera @Hotel Mac

We’re BACK - Festival Opera at the Mac!

The historic Hotel Mac, located in beautiful Point Richmond, was a legendary venue for jazz and other live music in its heyday. After a long closure during the pandemic, the Mac reopened with a fantastic new Italian restaurant. Biancoverde hosts Festival Opera at the Mac - a monthly musical residency curated by Festival Opera’s General Director, Zachary Gordin. The series will bring favorite opera artists from the Bay Area and beyond to the Mac, performing hits from opera, Broadway, and more! Improbable Fiction @Masquers Playhouse

February 6 - March 1
A self-help writers group meets at the home of Arnold, a gent who
dreams of creative endeavours more liberating than the translation of
foreign instruction manuals. After the group dismisses his suggestion
of collaborating on a piece of writing, Arnold finds himself transported
into the story that might have come from the collaboration.
Director Angela Mason has gathered together a wonderfully funny,
quirky cast to bring these fictional characters to life for the first show of
the 2026 season - Simon Patton, Conrad Cady, Tyler Null, Lori
Mrochinski, Atessa McAleenan-Morrell, Anna Kosiarek, and Alicia von
Kugelgen.
