Chevron filed a WARN notice with the state of California last week, announcing plans to lay off approximately 600 employees at its former headquarters in San Ramon.
Chevron said the layoffs are part of efforts to streamline its organizational structure, improve efficiency, and enhance the company's long-term competitiveness.
