# Storm watch

The entire Bay Area is under a high wind and flood advisory as a powerful atmospheric river bringing stormy conditions is moving across the San Francisco Bay Area, with some locations already seeing flooding and pooling on roadways.

Rain will continue this morning, with the brunt of the storm hitting late this afternoon and into this evening, bringing with it the potential for heavy rain and wind, along with a chance of thunderstorms.   
  
The storm has the potential to deliver about an inch of rain.   
  
The California Public Works joined many local meteorologists in recommending avoiding driving later today during the worst part of the storm.

**East Bay Regional Parks District closed through Thursday**

East Bay Regional Parks District has closed down all parks from today through tomorrow. The park district advises residents not to enter the parks, which are expected to reopen on Friday after officials assess the weather conditions.
