Claudia Jiménez has widened her lead over Ahmad Anderson in Richmond’s mayoral runoff with 54.3 percent of the vote, according to updated results released Friday afternoon.

Jiménez had 13,883 votes to Anderson’s 11,680, a 2,203-vote margin. Her lead was 1,196 votes after the election night count.

The Contra Costa County Elections Division estimates about 69,550 ballots remain to be counted countywide, mostly mail ballots. The county did not say how many are from Richmond. The next update is expected Tuesday, November 10, at 4 p.m.

### Fire station bond

Measure Q, a [$120 million bond](https://www.grandviewindependent.com/richmond-council-advances-fire-station-bond-toward-november-ballot-rejects-ethics-commission-measure/) to repair and rebuild Richmond’s fire stations and firefighter housing, had 69.6 percent yes. It needs two-thirds, or about 66.7 percent, to pass.

### School parcel tax

Measure V, which would renew the West Contra Costa Unified School District parcel tax, had 74.4 percent yes across the district. It also needs two-thirds to pass.

### Other races

Measure RTM, the regional transit sales tax, had 56.7 percent yes in Contra Costa County. It passes or fails on the combined vote across all five counties.

In the Contra Costa Community College District’s Ward 1 race, Raquel Donoso led Cameron Sasai with 60.8 percent.

Results are unofficial until the county certifies them.
